Faith in the future
After a smooth build process, Feadship Faith was launched on schedule in November 2016 to considerable fanfare and the owner’s complete satisfaction. Having thoroughly enjoyed his first season on board, the owner has decided to incorporate some new ideas based on his experiences and preferences. The project will last until the end of March 2018, giving Feadship the opportunity to also carry out its usual premium maintenance on-site at the yard.
The biggest change involves adding a second wellness area on the bridge deck between the master stateroom and guest suites on the main deck. The owner has also opted to give Faith’s exterior profile a more nautical look by replacing the current white-painted window boxes on the main and bridge decks with a walnut-varnished variety. There will also be a range of interior changes to further personalise the vessel and extra wind shading will be added to the aft decks.
Meanwhile, following in the slipstream of Faith is the 81-metre Air. Originally launched in 2011, this famous Feadship was the first superyacht built under Annex 2 of LY2 to have a fully certified commercial helicopter pad and is instantly recognisable for her unique matt black hull. The Feadship refit team will now repaint Air’s superstructure, make adaptations to the helicopter deck and conduct a range of technical maintenance activities and upgrades.
