Fairline Yachts appoints dealer
The UK’s Fairline Boats has added ACE Marine LLC to its dealer network, further expanding the company’s presence in the UAE and Middle East.
Operating from new offices in Dubai, ACE Marine will trade as Fairline Middle East and will serve clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
ACE Marine is a sister company of Alkhalil Trading LLC, which trades as Fairline Egypt at Abu Tig Marina in the Red Sea resort of El Gouna. Both dealerships, along with Fairline Lebanon in Beirut, were founded by managing director Tarek Khalil.
“Dubai offers a fantastic location for a new Fairline dealership and is perfectly placed to serve the Arabian Gulf region,” says Khalil, who has been part of the Fairline dealer network for five years. “Boat owners in the region have access to the country’s 300 exquisite manmade islands and the Arabian Gulf coastline has recently seen a great deal of development. The region has a growing community of luxury boat owners, who take advantage of the perfect boating conditions that we enjoy all year round.
Khalil says that there’s a great appetite for the Fairline brand in the region. “Last year we delivered the first Targa 48 GT model to a customer in Egypt and we recently delivered a Squadron 60 model into Lebanon for the first time, to a customer in Beirut,” he says. “We are already looking forward to the 2016 Dubai International Boat Show, which will give us a strong platform from which to promote the range and showcase the best of Fairline to our customers.”
