Fairline builds on recent launches with all-new 45ft addition
Luxury British boatbuilder, Fairline Yachts, announces plans for an all-new Targa 45 GT which will launch at Boot Düsseldorf 2020. The 45ft express cruiser expands on an ever-popular range, becoming the fourth model in the current Targa GT line-up and the ninth GT since the model line was introduced by Fairline fifteen years ago.
Available for the 2020 model year, the new Targa 45 GT provides a stylish and flexible layout synonymous with Fairline’s GT range, whilst building on previous models with some innovative features. This sleek cruiser has the same light, bright and luxurious feel that characterises all of the new generation of Fairline models, thanks to the brand’s partnership with celebrated Italian superyacht designer, Alberto Mancini.
The Targa 45 GT offers a spacious main deck saloon, powered hard top roof and large patio doors which benefit both Northern and Southern hemisphere boating. The tender garage for a Williams 280 MiniJet also ensures versatility and functionality. In addition to the adaptable interior layout, the cockpit has been designed with multiple uses in mind, from spending time relaxing in the sun to entertaining friends and family.
Head of Design and Engineering at Fairline Yachts, Wayne Huntley, says, “We are pleased to announce the upcoming addition of the Targa 45 GT to our product range, building on an already strong portfolio of yachts. We are confident that the accessible size, stunning interior and exterior design, and highly adaptable layout will appeal in every global yachting territory.”
This new yacht comes with a choice of a two or three cabin, two heads layout. The layout can be personalised further to have either a mid or forward master cabin, depending on preference. With a base price of £564,000 excluding taxes, the Targa 45 GT is powered by the new twin Volvo IPS600 D6-440 engines, with the option to upgrade to Volvo’s new IPS650 D6-480 units.
