Davidoff Cigars is proud to present its latest Travel Humidor. The Explorer is the first of three designs, with “Business” and “Urban” following in 2024 and early 2025 respectively. These new styles for different occasions will reinvigorate and enhance the brand’s travel humidor category with striking looks and innovative technology.
In 2017, Davidoff successfully launched a Travel Humidor that effortlessly combined function with style, allowing aficionados to take their precious cigars with them wherever they went. Already then, the humidor stood out for its smart details and the impeccable workmanship of the high-quality lightweight materials. The practical accessory was well received globally, as it facilitated travel with cigars with unprecedented comfort and flexibility. With this proven cutting-edge technology, light weight and handy format, Davidoff’s latest Travel Humidor designs now offer a wider range of choices to suit the aficionado’s lifestyle. “Our new Travel Humidors take design innovation to a next level, allowing aficionados to choose a piece that suits not only their cigar needs, but also their own preferences and style. While the humidor’s primary purpose is to safely transport cigars to their destination, it is also a true statement piece for the traveller”, says Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff.
Made in Italy bound for the world
With innovation at its core, the Davidoff Travel Humidor revolutionises cigar travel and ensures that cigars arrive at their destination in style and perfect condition. All humidors come with a smart tray exclusively created for Davidoff. With its innovative wave design, it can be flexibly adjusted to hold and safely transport up to eight cigars, depending on the format. Davidoff’s choice of materials protects the cigars from impact and ensures that the delicate cigar wrappers are well preserved. Laminated fabric, seamlessly welded components and a Boveda two-way humidity control pack maintain the ideal humidity inside the humidor for 45 days.
The design of the Explorer is influenced by the colours and activities found in a forest, with a nature-inspired dark green and contrasting orange aspects, such as the looped straps around the humidor. Although it fits comfortably into any suitcase, Davidoff added several design features to make it easy to use in the great outdoors. Matt-finished golden hook closures and a carabiner underline the design inspiration while the latter also provides a convenient way for aficionados to attach the humidor to something, such as a backpack, while enjoying the outdoors.

The new Davidoff Travel Humidor Explorer will be available as of 18 July 2024* at select Davidoff appointed merchants and flagship stores around the world.
