To mark the Chinese Year of the Rooster and delight Chinese aficionados around the globe, Davidoff Cigars will be introducing a highly exclusive Year of the Rooster 2017 Limited Edition.

Flavour and tobacco notes
These exclusive cigars have been crafted using the rarest and most precious ingredient — Time. Their blend is sophisticated and composed of PilotoSeco, San Vicente Visus, PilotoVisus and CriolloSeco,all seed-grown in the Dominican Republic, resulting in a beautifully balanced taste experience that yields nougat and hazelnut flavours with a well-pronounced luscious creaminess. The wrapper is“Habano Ecuador”, a seed grown in Ecuador, and the binder is San Vicente Mejorado grown in the Dominican Republic. Each cigar has a shiny, oily, dark brown wrapper and an eye-catching secondring in red with a gold foil pattern and Rooster icon with a holographic effect, which will certainly be appreciated by collectors. The cigars are presented in pairs, in five cedar wood compartments. Just 8,000 of these glossy lacquered red and dark wood boxes with a subtle pattern embossing on the toplid, suggesting the fan-shape of a feather in the Rooster’s plumage, will be available worldwide. Inside are ten cigars in refined Diademas Finas format, reflecting Davidoff’s commitment to craftsmanship.

Exclusive accessories
A range of limited edition accessories will also be available: a rich red leather case with space for two large cigars, with a feather like pattern to echo the Rooster’s plumage and a double blade cutter in rose gold and steel, again with the feather like pattern, that cuts cigars of up to a 58 RG.
Launch and availability
The Davidoff Year of the Rooster limited edition cigars and accessories are already in the US market and will be available for wider release at selected Appointed Merchants in mid-November 2016.Outside the US, the products will be launched worldwide at Davidoff Depositaries and Davidoff Flagship Stores in early January 2017.
