Damen Yacht Support vessel on its way to Monaco Yacht Show

The first newly updated 55-metre YS 5009 (181 ft) from the DAMEN Yacht Support range is on its way to the Monaco Yacht Show, where it will be on show from 28 Sep to 1 Oct.

DAMEN will be presenting scale models from the updated 43 to 90-metre Yacht Support range (142 to 295 ft) in the dedicated presentation lounge on board FAST & FURIOUS. The showcase vessel is open for visits at T Central T12.

Since DAMEN and AMELS launched the Yacht Support range in 2009, 9 vessels have been delivered or are in build. Following GARÇON, ‘6711’ and the recent delivery of the updated 69.15-metre YS 6911 (227 ft) INTREPID, DAMEN is now building its fourth vessel around the 70-metre mark in the Yacht Support range. The new YS 6911 features the much-requested all-weather helicopter hangar and will be delivered in spring 2017.

The updated 55-metre YS 5009 (181ft) features more flexibility and a comprehensive list of pre-engineered configurations for dive, sail, heli (including fully certified helideck) and heli hangar.

FAST & FURIOUS is available for delivery from autumn 2016. The next YS 5009 can be completed within 8 months of signing, depending on client requirements
