DAMEN Yacht Support vessel AXIS to appear at FLIBS 2018

DAMEN is co-exhibiting AXIS – a YS 5009 delivered in 2016 – together with Ocean Independence, who represented the owner for the purchase. AXIS is not for sale, but available for charter in the Bahamas.

“The oceans, the islands have a lot more to offer than just chartering a white boat,” says the American owner of AXIS about his remarkable fleet including a 50-metre Westport (164 ft) and 16-metre Viking 52 Open Express Frigate (52 ft). “What we’re talking about is a complete experience, whether it’s diving, submarining, fishing, sightseeing and all the toys with jetskis and sailboats.”

DAMEN has delivered 12 Yacht Support vessels since introducing the range in 2009, including POWER PLAY which recently appeared at the Monaco Yacht Show. DAMEN currently has 5 new vessels under construction. The next available YS 5009 will be delivered in summer 2019.
