CRN: THREE INTERNATIONAL PREMIERES
CRN: THREE INTERNATIONAL PREMIERES AT THE MONACO YACHT SHOW 2015
CRN, the shipbuilder specialising in the construction of steel and aluminium pleasure vessels between 50 and 90 metres in length, was in the spotlight at the leading international boat show with three real jewels: the 55 m M/Y Atlante, 61 m M/Y Saramour, and 73 m M/Y Yalla.
These three fully custom megayachts – the perfect expression of the brand’s DNA – were outstanding ambassadors for CRN, which has always been a pioneer in the search for and the implementation of innovative design solutions. The Shipbuilder, that skilfully combines its unmatched know-how with the talent of some of the leading international designers, showed all its excellence and exclusiveness by displaying three new yachts and introducing several unprecedented projects.
“CRN is definitely going through a very meaningful and exciting time: the liveliness of our shipyard goes hand in hand with unrivalled eclecticism”, states CRN’s Chairman and CEO, Lamberto Tacoli. “We were extremely proud to be presenting, for the first time ever at the same time, three very different yachts, which however share CRN’s unmistakable style. Our cooperation with several worldly-renowned architectural and design firms has allowed us to show the shipyard’s different souls, its ability to harmonise its style with different philosophies, to develop exclusive and unprecedented projects, and, above all, to keep meeting our Clients’ needs and requirements. We are sure that our design and construction flexibility will also significantly contribute to the ambitious plans of other Ferretti Group brands.”
The M/Y Atlante, which is the outcome of the very successful cooperation between and among CRN’s Engineering Department, who was in charge of naval engineering, Studio Nuvolari Lenard, who pencilled her external lines, and the prestigious firm Gilles & Boissier Interior Design, who designed her interiors, is 55 metres long and 11 metres wide, and is characterised by a deliberately strong stylistic identity that draws inspiration from some elements typical of military crafts. Square shapes, sharp lines, and innovative, sophisticated solutions, as well as a painstaking care for interior design details: these are just some of the distinctive features of the Atlante, which develops over 4 extremely original decks.
The 61 m M/Y Saramour is the first CRN megayacht pencilled by Francesco Paszkowski Design. This 61-metre-long, 11-metre wide vessel, which develops over 5 decks, stands out for her timeless design, thanks to harmonious exterior lines that ensure a flawless style consistency and to a minimal interior décor, meant to highlight the precious art collection found onboard. For the first time ever on a CRN vessel of this size, an entire deck has been reserved for the Owner: the master suite opens onto an exclusive outdoor area with a private swimming pool, allowing to enjoy onboard life to the fullest while ensuring the utmost privacy. In order to offer guests maximum comfort and unmatched services, the Saramour’s two symmetrical garages – located on the lower deck – host two large tenders.
The 73 m M/Y Yalla is CRN’s first yacht built on a 13-metre-wide naval platform. This real jewel of the sea – which stands out for her extremely slender and sporty lines – features a series of state-of-the-art design solutions conceived by CRN to promote onboard conviviality and social life. A glaring example of this is the innovative wellness area found on the lower deck, which features a beach club with a large pool and a fitness area. This yacht, developing over 4 decks, is a CRN megayacht entirely designed and built at the Ancona shipyard in cooperation with Omega Architects, who designed her exteriors, and with Droulers Architecture, who took care of interior design and décor.
The Monaco Boat Show 2015 was also the perfect occasion to present CRN’s new projects, aiming to always meet the market’s and clients’ requirements. Together with Zuccon International Project, CRN has developed three very different projects that reinterpret the Shipbuilder’s distinctive must-haves through very innovative solutions: a 50 m Expedition yacht, the 50 m Superconero, and a 50 m Dislopen Special Edition yacht. Moreover, in cooperation with Francesco Paszkowski Design, CRN has developed a series of solutions that are the stylistic evolution of the Saramour: with an eye to always ensuring the closest possible contact with the sea, the new 72 m and 80 m yachts feature an innovative architecture and design, also made possible by considerably larger sizes and volumes.
Last, but not least, the fully-custom Oceansport megayachts, developed in cooperation with Omega Architects, are characterised by truly innovative solutions: indeed, the low, slender profile of the Oceansport line prove that an elegant and imposing megayacht can also have a very sporty personality.
