Cerri Cantieri Navali at the Boat Shows with “Sea Look”

This is a very significant year for Cerri Cantieri Navali, that is looking forward to the forthcoming international boat shows with a new brand identity and celebrating the success of the 102’ Flyingsport line, whose fourth hull, the ‘Sea Look’, will be presented at these important events. The boat builder has indeed been undergoing a far-reaching renewal, which started with the acquisition by the Gavio Group and has led to the Company’s reorganization and new image, always with an eye to enhancing its heritage and know-how in the pleasure boating sector.

The ‘Sea Look’, which will be on display at the Cannes and Monaco boat shows, is the perfect embodiment of Cerri’s long-standing experience and unique style. This yacht stands out for the elegance of its exterior sleek lines, which further highlight the core feature of the ‘Flyingsport’ concept, i.e. blending together the comfort of a flying bridge yacht and the sporty character and speed of large open crafts, thereby achieving a flawless combination of elegance, style, functionality and onboard liveability.

The yacht’s refined, stylish interiors have been pencilled by architect Filippo Rossi and draw inspiration from the natural landscapes and elements of Sardinia: sand, rock, northwesterly wind, the waves, the turquoise sea. Turquoise, also evoked by the name of the yacht, is the only colour purposefully disrupting – in the central wall of the main deck – the soft harmony of the light colour shades (beige, brown, and sand) that are the fil rouge unravelling across the entire vessel. Light, soft colours are meant to create a pleasant, relaxing contrast with the bright colours typical of the days spent at sea. All interiors are extremely bright thanks to a central skylight, characterised by a very innovative profile, that allows to considerably increase the height of the main salon, letting light shine through and flood the entire room. While natural light plays a key role, the lighting devices installed on the walls and in passageways and recesses create a warm ’embracing’ effect.

CCN’s strategic projects for the near future include a further increase in fibreglass production – which is still the brand’s core business – and the extension of the available product range, which will allow the boat builder to enter the ‘custom-made’ market segment with 2 fully-custom lines.

The 2 most successful series – the Cerri 102’ Flyingsport and the Cerri 86’ Flyingsport – will be restyled, preserving their distinctive décor features but adding a more contemporary touch, and 2 new lines of steel and aluminium and/or all-aluminium yachts will start to be built: a series of small superyachts between 24 and 35 m in length, pencilled by architect Tommaso Spadolini, and a line of 35 m ‘Expedition’ crafts called ‘Phileas’ designed by Studio Vallicelli. This will give Cerri the opportunity to offer its international clientele a complete product range.
