Canados confirms an exciting triple world debut at the upcoming 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival (12th – 17th of September): 428 Gladiator, 808 Maximus and 888 Evo on display.

Canados 428 Gladiator – Marco Casali Design

The hull has been designed and engineered giving priority to safety, stability, rough  water  handling  and  comfort.  As a result, the Gladiator 428 is the only boat in its category to come with a RINA A Class certificate.

The massive bow flair will guarantee an all-weather dry ride while the 21º deep V at the transom allows running the boat at any speed seven in strong swell.

Safety being one of our top priorities, Canados wanted a bulletproof yacht, thus the entire hull, structure and deck are made of vacuum bagged quadri-axial E-Glass vinyl-ester infused resin with balsa and Airex coring to offer maximum strength and rigidity. The boat comes standard with GPS, Chart plotter, auto-pilot, depth sounder, bow thruster and maneuvering joystick making it a true toy to handle.

As the vast majority of clients are running this kind of boats themselves, the standard equipment list also includes a “crystal cockpit” integrated dashboard. It is basically an intuitive touchscreen integrating controls of all the boat electrical equipment including sound system, bilge pumps, blowers, lights, engines parameters and navigation electronics.

The Gladiator is also the first boat equipped with the all new Volvo battery management system.

The entire cockpit from the swimming platform all the way to the cabin door is step less, allowing to safely and easily move in the boat underway with no risk.

The center console configuration, protected by the standard kevlar/carbon fiber hard-top is positioned in a way that allows installation of two face-to-face sofas. This configuration is a key element to social life as the owner operating his boat will be able to face his guests, friends or family while at the helm. Once anchored, the access  to  the  foredeck  is  made  via  a  central  molded stairwell between the two “Café Racer” styled wind deflectors.

The exterior dinette and the large sun pad are protected by a bimini-top with two carbon fiber poles with tensioners. Under the sun-pad, large storage space allows to install two Seabobs and various toys.

The cabin is offered with a unique layout with unlimited choice off abrics and wood veneer in the purest Canados spirit.

Canados 808 Maximus

Designed by Rome based Marco Casali, the mission he was assigned with was extremely clear. This new model had to retain the “modern-classic” DNA of  the 70+ years  old  shipyard  while  introducing  new solutions to offer all the amenities and usage plan of a 30-meter +yacht.

In short, Casali was requested to incorporate all the amenities and comfort usually found on board much larger yachts above in a 24,85-meter yacht with a CE length at 23,25 meter.

Yachts of that size are only available in four cabin versions. Their layout  always  calls  for  lower  deck  master  cabin  aft,  to  immediate vicinity of the engine room and its noisier environment. The Canados 808 Maximus is absolutely unique, offering a main deck owner’ suite, far from the engine room, while its full beam  lower deck  VIP suite offers even more volume than the best master cabin found in competitive yachts, thanks to its 6,25 m beam.

Where the Maximus is even more unique is in the fact she is available in a 5-cabin version, making it the only yacht that size offering such capacity. A unique factor for charter operated yachts.

The first 808 to be launched will be powered with twin V12 MAN -1, 900hp that  will allow the Maximus to offer a cruising speed  in excess of 25 knots and a 30 knots top speed.

Canados 888 EVO

The descendant of the Canados 86’ which 46 units have been delivered now has its successor, the 888 EVO.A modern-classic by essence, the 888 EVO intends to be the most elegant vessel in the category. Retaining  the  86’s  purity of the lines, the Evo comes with redesigned portholes, floor to ceiling drop shaped side windows, foredeck lounge, open/close Boffi custom made galley and a transomless aft deck with reversed U shaped sofa.

The fly bridge has been enlarged compared to its predecessor and isnow available with all lose furniture from Italian maker Talenti.

Like  every Canados, the 888 Interiors are fully custom and the client will be able to choose any essence of wood, marble or Poltrona Frau leather. Using the exact same technical platform as the 86’ which track record is simply impeccable, the first EVO 888 will bear hull nuber 47 in the continuity of the 86’.

This first model interior décor was designed in house using white china lacquers, Poltrona Frau leather, natural satin  oak, high gloass Ebony of Macassar and American walnut for the wood floor ofthe main deck. The marble is Strato Olympico.

As we see the 888 Evo as the evolution of our most successful model, the decision has been made to deliver a turnkey model with hard-top, electric curtains, dimmers,  metallic  painting,  Seakeeper  gyro stabilization system…as part of the standard equipment. With twin Caterpillar C32 Acert delivering 1,925 hp, the Canados 888 Evo top speed is in excess of 30 knots.
