BENETTI HAS LAUNCHED A NEW OASIS 40M, M/Y COSMICO

Benetti has launched M/Y Cosmico, a new unit in the Oasis 40M line. With masterful exterior styling by British firm RWD, the new boat has interiors designed by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture that feature a layout and materials personalised according to the owner’s specifications.

The design features on board M/Y Cosmico reflect the refined tastes and style of the owner, aspiring to an onboard lifestyle centred on well-being. There was a special focus in the design process on the materials chosen for this boat: the main wood used is walnut as an alternative to rosewood, creating an elegant contrast with the leather-clad panels that replace the gloss lacquered panelling in the original design, while oak boards replace teak for the interior flooring. The Shipyard has interpreted the owner’s wishes through extensive customisation, examples being the outdoor dining area astern on the Upper Deck, fitted with a quartzite-topped table, and the Sun Deck designed for relaxing and entertaining.

The layout of various areas on board has also been redesigned and adapted in line with the customer’s preferences. The arrangement of the master suite on the Main Deck has been revisited to put the bed in the centre, while moving the vanity area forward of the central bulkhead to conceal the pocket door leading to the majestic bathroom. The Skylounge has been rearranged so that it can accommodate two comfy sofas.

Lastly, the focal point of M/Y Cosmico and the entire Oasis line is the Oasis Deck®, featuring side wings that swing open to convert the beach area into a spacious water’s edge terrace, for an onboard experience that’s closer than ever to the sea.

The delivery of M/Y Cosmico to the owner is planned for the end of May 2024.
