BAGLIETTO SHINES ON THE CROISETTE WITH THE DOM133 ATTITUDE
Once again year Baglietto opens the nautical season in Cannes where it will play a leading role with the DOM133 Attitude designed by Stefano Vafiadis for the exteriors while the interiors are pencilled by the designer Ezequiel Farca.
MOTOR YACHT “ATTITUDE”
With modern, captivating lines and very generous interior volumes thanks to a width of 8.70 m, the DOM133 line, of which Attitude is the first representative, offers original design and layout solutions that are truly unmatched on the market. Perfect for trans-oceanic navigation, this 41-metre vessel stands out for her aluminium hull and limited draught (2.15 m – 7ft) that make her ideal to cruise even in very shallow waters.
Conceived to be a real villa on the sea, Attitude has been developed to be home to a large family that will use the yacht for long periods and in very diverse ways. The result is an extremely versatile yacht that combines elegance and functionality, onboard liveability and style. The layout unravels in a smooth, harmonious flow between indoor and outdoor areas, meant to make the most of convivial life on board. The main saloon, for example, has floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that open up entirely, turning this area into a natural extension of the beach club. The latter develops on two levels and features an infinity pool with lifting bottom that has by now become the hallmark of all latest-generation Baglietto yachts. Besides being the perfect space to enjoy the sea at best, the aft cockpit is thus also a pleasant al fresco area to indulge in even when moored. “Feeling like home”, in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, was the main inspiring concept not just for exterior areas, but also for interior design, signed by architect Ezequiel Farca: at the heart of it are versatile, flexible spaces that revolve around family life.
Inside, the huge floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces remind of modern Californian villas. The colours, in the soft shades of beige, brown and burnt Sienna create a warm, embracing atmosphere, also thanks to the extensive use of natural wood for the floors and to the walls clad in oak-wood boards, made even more precious by Stephane Parmentier’s unique piece of art. A lounge area furnished with Minotti sofas and Flexform leather armchairs opens onto the outside space, to which it is seamlessly connected. A low cabinet divides the lounge from the dining area, fitted with a large Minotti table seating 10 people and a central custom-made chandelier by Viabizzuno. Behind this area stands an imposing metal and glass wall by Sophie Mallebranche.
Walking towards the bow, the professional kitchen with annexed pantry can be found amidships, while from the foyer, to starboard, access is gained to the master suite, which includes an office, a walk-in closet, a relaxation area, and a bathroom with a central shower. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, making the whole suite incredibly bright, and the light shade of the carpeting pleasantly contrasts the brown leather headboard and the dark parquet.
The central staircase in Edelman shagreen leather leads to the lower deck, where guests will find accommodation in 2 VIP cabins and two twin ones. Moving forward on this same deck is the crew area, with separate access, which includes the crew mess, a laundry area and 4 double cabins.
The upper deck can be reached via both the internal staircase and a “floating” exterior one, in teak and glass with steel details. This deck, too, has been conceived as one single uninterrupted space – a veranda that is the utmost expression of the flawless balance between indoor and outdoor areas. The central windows that open up completely create a seamless, harmonious continuum further emphasized by the teak flooring of the interiors. Needless to say, versatility is the core element on this deck, too. The sky lounge, indeed, offers a conversation area with a large TV hidden by mirror glass, which further enhances the sense of space continuity, and a game table. The dining area has been arranged outside. Forward, the pilot station, in leather, is equipped with cutting-edge navigation instruments. Opposite the wheelhouse, on this same deck, is an additional private living area, furnished with sofas and sunpads.
On the sun deck, world-class design can be found in every piece of furniture, characterised by minimal, stylish lines. The central bar unit and the one by the pool have wood and stone geometric patterns that finely match the dining table and the lounge area at the stern, creating just the perfect space to enjoy life in the open air.
The garage, located aft of the engine room, can fit a 5.7-metre tender, while a rescue tender can be found at the bow.
Two Caterpillar C32 engines will allow MY Attitude to reach a noteworthy maximum speed of 17 knots.
