AZIMUT SEADECK 7 WINS THE MIGLIO BLUE DESIGN AWARDS 2025

Azimut wins the 2025 Miglio Blue Design Award for the “General Concept” category with the Seadeck 7, the first full-hybrid yacht in its segment. The model embodies a “Gentle at Sea” philosophy, combining design that brings back an authentic experience in close connection with nature with the best solutions to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 40%.

Azimut receives a new acknowledgement of the Seadeck 7, with a win at Miglio Blue Design Awards 2025 in the “General Concept” category. The award ceremony took place at the Teatro Civico in La Spezia as part of the Blue Design Summit, an event dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the nautical sector.

The award, which recognizes shipyards that stand out for their design excellence and sustainability, was assigned to Seadeck 7 for its innovative concept, design and use of cutting-edge materials.

This model embodies Azimut’s “Gentle at Sea” philosophy, which welcomes a new lifestyle in contact with nature through a holistic approach to design, in which stylistic innovation, design and advanced technologies meet.

Advanced naval architecture, the extensive use of carbon and a full-hybrid system developed with Volvo Penta, which makes the benefits of electrification available for the first time on medium-sized family-run motoryachts, allow the Seadeck 7 to reduce emissions by up to 40% compared to traditional boats in the same category.

A distinctive element is the Fun Island: a reinterpretation of the aft cockpit conceived by Alberto Mancini that transforms this area into a terrace that embraces the sea, eliminating any barrier with the surrounding environment to offer a sense of well-being linked to a deep connection with nature. Azimut replicated this conscious approach in the choice of materials, opting for natural, recycled and recyclable materials, which are also used for the interiors designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, who introduce a new language to the world of yachting.
