ARCADIA YACHTS ANNOUNCES SALE
ARCADIA YACHTS ANNOUNCES SALE OF ARCADIA 115 HULL #4
Arcadia Yachts – the innovative and unique “eco-friendly” Italian shipyard – has the pleasure to announce the sale of hull #4 of Arcadia 115 in the Middle East region.
“For our yard the sale of the fourth unit of Arcadia 115 represents an additional crucial business achievement that confirms our production and visionary strategies over this model. The sale of 4 hulls in four years is a solid step for a “niche yard” like we are. In regards to the Yacht, it’s not necessary to point out that you haven’t seen a yacht like this before. But if you can see from the outside that she offers something different, it’s not until you step aboard that you can appreciate just how radical she really is”. This is how Ugo Pellegrino – President of Arcadia Yachts talks about Arcadia 115.
Thanks to her 32,55m/106,90 ft sea water line and a beamy semi-displacement hull (8,10 m/106,90 ft), Arcadia 115 really does offer unusual internal volumes if compared with a typical 115-footer. The hydrodynamic efficiency of its hulls is key to the Arcadia concept, combining excellent performances with significant fuel savings and comfortable sea-keeping. Her hull shape, adapted by Arcadia from the designs originated by Britain’s National Physical Laboratory (NPL), allows Arcadia 115 to sail from 8 to above 17 knots with little changes in trim and, furthermore, offers the largest width for more comfortable spaces in the most crucial interior areas.
Her appeal runs deeper than a modern interior design only, since it is characterized by two fundamentals such as: light and space. The depth of the saloon area and the sense of transparency coming from the floorto-ceiling windows amidships of the main deck give a limitless view effect that impresses each visitor. Two balconies opening on the sea from each side of the dining room enhance this sensation of freedom and contact with the environment around us, even more. Exactly consistent with the innovative concept that inspires all Arcadia models.
On Arcadia 115 the entertaining areas are spectacular, with plenty of sofas and seating places in the maindeck, while on the upper-deck a wide-open space offers a huge relaxing zone consisting of an amazing transparent “lounge” connected on suite with a unique “terrace on the sea” featured with sun-beds, sunumbrellas, wet-bar and a second formal dining table. All this offers on board of Arcadia 115 a lifestyle for the guests obtainable only on much bigger vessels and explains the success of this model also in the charter market, where Arcadia 115 is very appreciated for an optional layout that can provide up to six very spacious double-cabins and for the generous crew quarter featuring afore on the lower deck a separate crew’s mess, 8 beds in 4 cabins for the crew members, 4 toilets and 4 shower boxes. Arcadia takes into great consideration the crew’s rest and comfort.
The interiors are featured with furnishings by Poltrona Frau and other top Italian design brands, although Arcadia would be happy to listen to prospective owner’s ideas for alternative interior choices and different solutions.
Arcadia 115 claims that the 5-kilowatt photovoltaic panels – for an overall of 60 sqm – gives the superstructure’s roof glass not only a futuristic look but also provide sufficient power on a bright day to run the refrigerators and freezers, plus lights, fans, and pumps, without the need for a generator, which will make sitting at anchor a whole lot quieter and more environmentally friendly. The glass used on the boat is doubleglazed, filled with encapsulated, inert gas, which reportedly gives it the insulating qualities of a 20 cm brick wall.
From the various layout options, the standard is a four-cabin version of the lower deck, two doubles and two twins. At the upper deck Arcadia 115 offers a jolly cabin (back to the wheelhouse area) that may be assigned to Captain or Vip guests as extra accommodation.
With the spectacular full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, and four cabins down forward in the wellappointed crew’s quarters, the yacht’s full complement is 10/12 guests and 8 crew – ideal in case of yacht charter. The three-cabin lower deck layout features a full-beam VIP suite aft in place of the two doubles. The tender garage can accommodate a 14-foot RIB and two Personal Water scooters.
For full displacement oriented owners Arcadia 115 cruises at 8 knots. At 12.5 knots of speed, to be achieved with the 12-cylinder MANs ticking over at a relaxed 1570 rpm, yacht should manage over 1,200 nautical miles with a comparatively modest cost in fuel thanks to the yacht’s immense diesel capacity.
