Another Mangusta Yacht lands in the USA
The brand is now beginning to be recognized also for some product lines that move away from the more traditional ones: the Mangusta Oceano “Namastè”, a yacht belonging to the long-range 3-deckers line, was awarded as “Best in Show” upon her debut in the US, at the latest Fort Lauderdale Boat Show; the Mangusta GranSport “El Leon”, the 54-meter flagship of the new fast displacement line, was welcomed with great interest by potential customers and received amazing press coverage and acknowledgements.
Last February, Mangusta chose Miami as the stage for the world preview of a new model: the Mangusta GranSport 33.
Today, just over two months since the yacht’s official presentation, we are delighted to announce the sale of the Mangusta GranSport 33 to an American Owner.
“This sale confirms that our project – developed with a strong focus on achieving a perfect combination of design and state-of-the-art technology – is interesting and attractive” comments Mangusta’s Commercial Director Francesco Frediani. “We were counting on its success, but were nonetheless surprised by how fast we moved from the presentation stage – through renderings and videos – to actually securing the deal. In any sale, success always stems from the combination of the right product, an Owner who literally falls in love with it, and a highly professional team. In this specific case, our gratitude also goes to our USA Area Manager Stefano Arlunno”.
The Mangusta GranSport line, penciled by Alberto Mancini, has been designed by the Overmarine Group with a view to achieving a very long range at cruising speed as well as very high-speed performances, always ensuring maximum onboard comfort – a flawless combination that can be summarized as “pure versatility”.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is the new entry level in her line, sharing with larger models the same harmonious blend of stylish design and technical solutions, a strong personality and timeless elegance, sporty features and comfort, outstanding performances and maximum efficiency. The yacht’s exteriors and interiors feature the same harmonized design style, which expresses Mangusta yachts’ distinctive en plein air lifestyle to the fullest.
A wide, fully-equipped cockpit welcomes guests as they step onboard. The wide flybridge includes a sunbathing area, a bar and a living area, allowing the Owner and his guests to chill out while enjoying the utmost privacy and total freedom of movement. Another lounge area furnished with a sofa and a table to dine al fresco is located forward, where a large sunbathing area with Jacuzzi tub can also be found.
Inside, the main deck features a spacious and bright salon where plenty of natural light shines through several ceiling-high windows, two of which can be opened to let in the pleasant Mediterranean breeze and ensure natural air circulation. The galley, adjacent to the salon, allows the crew to serve guests easily and efficiently. The master stateroom is located on the main deck, too – a key choice allowing the Owner to enjoy spacious volumes, unmatched privacy and incredible brightness.
The lower deck hosts 4 comfortable guest cabins, for which several configurations are available.
Overmarine Group’s Interiors Department is already working jointly with the Owner on the layout definition and customization and on the selection of furniture, furnishings, and décor details to the Owner’s taste.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is powered by an innovative propulsion system that pushes her to a maximum speed of 26 knots while also ensuring incredibly low vibrations and great noiselessness, resulting in unmatched comfort.
Other distinctive technical features include the great maneuverability ensured during mooring operations by the “Joystick Docking” system, dynamic positioning – a function that allows the yacht to maintain any pre-set position -, and the sophisticated electronically-driven fin stabilizers system.
Thanks to her very limited draft of 1.9 m (6.2 ft), allowing her to easily cruise in very shallow waters, this yacht is ideal, for instance, to enjoy the Bahamas during the winter season or the Hamptons in the summer.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 will be ready for delivery in 2020.
