ANOTHER MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 LANDS IN AMERICA
Just over a few days after the announcement of another sale, Overmarine Group is proud to share yet another success. The fourth unit of the Mangusta GranSport 33 line, “Project Pantelleria”, has indeed been sold to an American Owner, in cooperation with Boomer Jousma and Vittoria Santarone from brokerage house Italian Yacht Group.
“As many as 3 units of this model have been sold in America, making it a true benchmark overseas. It is particularly appreciated because of its outer lines, designed respecting the Mangusta family feeling, its impressive onboard volumes, and the wide outdoor areas maximising contact with the sea all year round. Moreover, the propulsion system installed on this yacht ensures excellent
manoeuvrability and is fitted with cutting-edge and Owner-friendly technological solutions, like joystick control and dynamic positioning, which means that the Owner himself can safely manage the yacht”, explains Stefano Arlunno, Mangusta President Americas.
The Mangusta GranSport line, pencilled by Alberto Mancini – which also includes larger models of 45 and 54 metres in length – has been engineered by Overmarine Group to deliver a truly long range at cruising speed as well as reach high speeds, always in the utmost comfort.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is the entry level among composite fast displacement yachts. This model comes with a latest-generation propulsion system consisting of 4 Volvo Penta D13 735kW (~1000HP) engines coupled with 4 IPS pods, ensuring outstanding efficiency and extraordinary manoeuvrability.
Thanks to this system, the Mangusta GranSport 33 can cruise at a maximum speed of 25 knots still offering her guests excellent comfort in terms of low vibrations and noiselessness, while at a pleasant cruising speed of 21 knots the yacht’s range increases to 330 nautical miles. The compact 4-engine configuration significantly reduces the area taken up by the engine room, consequently leaving much more space available for the Owner and his guests.
As is the case on all Mangusta yachts, the exteriors and interiors are well balanced and smoothly connected, to maximise the concept of lifestyle meant at an unforgettable onboard life experience.
Among the most widely appreciated features on this model is the sun deck, which covers an impressive 56 sq. m (184 sq/ft) surface and has been thought out with an eye to the guests’ entertainment and relaxation; it consists of a large lounge, a fully-equipped sunbathing area and, forward, a Jacuzzi infinity pool.
Another distinctive element on this vessel is the extensible aft platform, which can be electrically opened to become a spacious beach area fitted with shower and ladder, offering the closest possible contact with the sea. The garage, also located aft, is hidden from the view by a garage blind, and can fit a tender up to 5.65 m and two jet-skis.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is, therefore, a yacht boasting characteristics equivalent to those found on 38/40-metre vessels, but with the ease of management and reduced running costs of a 30-meter yacht.
The custom interior layout features 4 guest cabins on the lower deck, while the impressive 40-sq.m (132 sq/ft), master stateroom is located on the main deck.
The shipyard’s Interiors Department is already at work with the Owner’s designer to develop solutions tailored to his own taste and needs.
Delivery of this unit is scheduled for March 2022.
The following Mangusta GranSport 33 unit, “Project Panarea”, is currently under construction and will be ready for delivery in June 2022.
