NUMARINE OPENS ITS OWN AMERICAS OFFICE AND MOVES TO AN OPEN APPROACH TO SALES
Numarine, the renowned Turkish shipyard specialising in the design and construction of high-performance explorer yachts, has announced the opening of its new Americas office in Fort Lauderdale, marking a significant step in strengthening its presence across the region and introducing a more direct and inclusive approach to sales.
Under the new structure, Numarine will represent itself directly throughout the Americas, operating through its dedicated regional team led by Ali Tanir, Head of Numarine Americas. The strategic move establishes a direct line of communication between the shipyard, yacht owners, prospective clients and brokerage professionals while opening opportunities for collaboration with brokers and brokerage houses across the market.

As part of this transition, Numarine is moving away from its previous exclusive brokerage arrangement in favour of an open sales model, allowing brokers throughout the Americas to engage directly with the shipyard’s Fort Lauderdale office.
“No single broker house acts as Numarine’s representative in the region, and any broker with a client interested in our yachts is welcome to get in touch with the Fort Lauderdale office,” explained Ali Tanir, Head of Numarine Americas. “We would like to thank our previous exclusive partner in the region, Denison, for the work done together over the years. We are in conversation with a number of broker houses, Denison among them, about future partnerships.”
The establishment of the new office reflects the strategic importance of the Americas to Numarine’s global operations and its commitment to providing a more accessible, responsive and personalised experience for clients and industry partners.
Patrik von Sydow, CEO of Numarine, highlighted the significance of the expansion: “The Americas, together with Turkey, make up Numarine’s largest client group, and the new office is designed to give that market the same direct access to the shipyard that owners in our home country already have. With our own office and our own team in Fort Lauderdale, owners and brokers speak to the shipyard directly.”
Strategically located in Fort Lauderdale, one of the world’s leading yachting hubs, the new office will serve as a central point of contact for Numarine’s activities throughout the Americas. Beyond its presence in Florida, the regional team will focus on strengthening relationships with existing clients, developing new partnerships and expanding the shipyard’s network across the United States and the wider Americas market.
Ali Tanir further emphasised the office’s regional ambitions: “Fort Lauderdale is where much of the industry is based, so it was the obvious place for us. But at the same time this office is not just for Florida. We will be reaching clients and brokers in every state and we’re looking forward to establishing new connections.”
The opening of Numarine Americas represents an important milestone in the shipyard’s international development strategy, reinforcing its commitment to closer customer relationships, greater market accessibility and stronger collaboration with the brokerage community.
Through its new direct representation model, Numarine aims to further consolidate its position in the Americas’ luxury explorer yacht market, while ensuring that owners, prospective buyers and brokerage partners benefit from streamlined communication and direct access to the shipyard’s expertise.
