6TH OLYMPIC YACHT SHOW: THE FLAGSHIP BRIDGE CONNECTING GREEK YACHTING WITH THE GLOBAL MARKET
The 6th Olympic Yacht Show, Greece’s largest floating yacht show and the most prestigious event in the Eastern Mediterranean, returns dynamically to the state-of-the-art facilities of Olympic Marine in Lavrio, from October 15 to 18, 2026.
The event is held under the auspices of the industry’s most important institutional bodies, with the elite of Greek yachting strongly making its presence felt. The show is expected to gather more than 120 luxury vessels over 9 meters in length anchored in their natural environment, as well as over 400 leading brands from the fields of equipment, electronic systems, brokerage, and chartering. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to browse an impressive and diverse fleet, which will include imposing Motor Yachts, elegant Sailing Boats, and luxury Catamarans. At the same time, technological innovations will be presented, alongside the premieres of highly anticipated models.
Maritime tourism has historically been a critical pillar of growth for the Greek economy, and the Olympic Yacht Show has established itself as the ultimate benchmark of the industry. As the only floating show in the region with an exclusive focus on yacht sales, it acts as a catalyst for international outreach, connecting shipyards, manufacturers, investors, and buyers. As noted by the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Yacht Show, Gerasimos Gerolimatos, “the show is a vibrant forum shaping tomorrow’s trends, while operating as a mirror of the economy that highlights growth prospects, as well as the challenges that maritime tourism is called upon to face at this given moment”.
The trajectory of the Olympic Yacht Show moves in parallel with the Greek market itself. When the event grows and shows positive momentum, it confirms the resilience and upward course of the entire sector. Conversely, any downturn of the event functions as a sensitive seismograph, faithfully reflecting the pressures, realignments, and challenges facing yachting.
Undoubtedly, the event holds a pivotal and strategic role for the domestic market. It creates new commercial opportunities, strengthens partnerships, and brings shipyards, agents, manufacturers, designers, service providers, maritime tourism executives, investors, and boat owners into direct contact. The gathering of all professionals in a high-level environment favors the exchange of expertise, the conclusion of deals, and the creation of synergies with a meaningful footprint for the entire industry. Completing its first successful five-year cycle, the event opens a new, ambitious chapter, further broadening its international horizons. With its eyes firmly set on innovation and international outreach, the Olympic Yacht Show strengthens its position on the global map, attracting the interest of leading industry players from every corner of the planet.
