FIRST PERSHING GTX90 LAUNCHED, THE NEW SPORT UTILITY YACHT THAT EXPANDS THE GTX RANGE
The first Pershing GTX90 was launched on 1 July at the port of Fano, Italy in the presence of the exterior and interior designers from Vallicelli Design Studio. With this latest addition, Pershing expands its GTX range into the 90 to 100 foot segment introducing a Sport Utility Yacht that perfectly balances comfort, liveability and the brand’s unmistakably sporty character.
Measuring 27.97 metres in length overall with a 6.89-metre beam, the Pershing GTX90 is the result of a close collaboration between Vallicelli Design Studio and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Construction began at the Ferretti Group’s Plug and Mould facility, where advanced technology is combined with traditional craftsmanship before being completed at the Group’s new Mondolfo production facility dedicated to the GTX range.
Arranged across two decks and a sportbridge the Pershing GTX90 accommodates up to eight guests in four en suite cabins. Remaining true to the Sport Utility Yacht philosophy that defines the GTX range, the yacht maximises every onboard space while offering exceptional comfort and an enhanced connection to the sea.
The yacht continues the GTX family design language with signature styling elements including the slightly convex sheer line that flows seamlessly from bow to stern and the distinctive vertical bow. The result is a sleek contemporary profile that reflects the dynamic sporting spirit synonymous with the Pershing brand.
A key highlight aft is the raised cockpit, designed to strengthen the connection with the water. Twin fold-down side terraces expand the cockpit beam, creating an impressive 37-square-metre outdoor living area. The cockpit also features a large panoramic sunpad with dedicated storage underneath for two Seabobs while the shaded lounge beneath the superstructure on this first unit is furnished with a forward-facing sofa and two coffee tables.
A wide sliding glass door creates a seamless transition between the exterior cockpit and the main deck. To port, a fully equipped bar with three stools includes refrigerators, an ice maker and a dishwasher while opposite sits a dining table accommodating eight guests. The central main salon features a spacious C-shaped sofa designed for entertaining and relaxation. Forward, the helm station is fitted with three pilot seats, an optional electrically operated skylight and direct access to both side decks leading to the foredeck. Here a generous sunpad and a dinette with an electrically adjustable table can be combined to create a larger sunbathing area, offering another inviting social space close to the water.
The lower deck has been carefully designed to optimise every available space. The full-beam owner’s suite is located amidships, complemented by a forward VIP cabin and two guest cabins configured with one double bed and two single beds respectively. Each guest cabin benefits from its own en suite bathroom.
Separate crew accommodation comprises two double cabins, each with private bathrooms and direct access to the main galley, ensuring efficient service and smooth onboard operations.
Among the Pershing GTX90’s defining features is its expansive 33-square-metre sportbridge providing more than 43% additional deck space compared to the average yacht in this size category. The aft section is dedicated to sunbathing while the central area offers a dinette with two generous sofas beneath an oversized hard top. Forward the helm station features three pilot chairs and twin control consoles with azimuth levers.
Another significant innovation is the introduction of a double garage a first for the GTX range below 100 feet capable of accommodating both a Williams 395 SportJet tender and a Sea-Doo Spark Trixx jet ski.
Power comes from twin MAN V12X engines, each producing 2,200 HP, paired with Castoldi TurboDrive 600 HCT waterjets to deliver the exhilarating performance expected of the Pershing brand. Certified to CE Class A, the first Pershing GTX90 is also equipped with twin Seakeeper 18 gyroscopic stabilisers, further enhancing onboard comfort both underway and at anchor.
