THE MEDITERRANEAN SUPERYACHT FORUM POSITIONS COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE AT THE CENTRE OF INDUSTRY DECISION-MAKING
The Mediterranean Superyacht Forum reinforces its positioning as a working platform for the industry, introducing a programme structure designed to transform discussion into actionable outcomes.
At a time when the yachting sector faces structural challenges from perception and regulation to talent, sustainability and operational efficiency the Forum proposes a shift in approach: moving from traditional conference formats to a model built on active participation and shared responsibility.
A programme designed to work, not just to speak
The 2026 edition is structured around two core elements: Small Group Sessions and Think Tanks, organised across three strategic pillars – Destination, Business and Commercial Strategy.
On the first day, 12 Small Group Sessions will bring together a limited number of participants to address key industry challenges in a focused and collaborative environment. Each session is led by industry professionals directly involved in shaping the sector’s evolution, including:
Kerry Allerton (Evolution Yacht Agents), Isabel Martínez (IPM-IMG Marine Group), Camille Lopez (Hy-Plug), Jessima Timberlake (Lusben), Rubén Carmona (MB92 Group), Paul Grünig (Astilleros de Mallorca), Joan Salom (Nautipaints Group), Gloria Fernández (i-Deal), Diego Molinari (Amico & Co), Antonella Della Pietra (BWA Yachting Spain), Ione Astondoa (Astondoa) and Francisco Villalobos (D-Marin).
These sessions address topics ranging from the real economic and territorial impact of yachting, to talent management as a growth constraint, the role of private capital, or the evolution of the ownership experience across the yacht lifecycle.
From insight to industry direction
On the second day, the Forum’s Think Tanks will consolidate the outcomes of the Small Group Sessions, structuring them into shared conclusions aligned with each strategic pillar.
This methodology ensures that the knowledge generated is not fragmented, but synthesised into a coherent framework that can support decision-making across the sector.
The objective is clear: to extract knowledge from the industry and return it to the industry in a structured and actionable form.
Addressing the industry’s structural challenges
The Forum takes place in a context where the yachting industry is increasingly required to articulate its value — not only economically, but also socially and territorially. The need to move beyond outdated narratives and reinforce its role as an economic driver is widely recognised within the sector .
By creating a space for aligned, data-driven and experience-based discussion, the Forum aims to contribute to this repositioning effort.
Industry-backed, industry-driven
The development of the programme is supported by a strong network of partners who actively contribute to the content and direction of the discussions.
Headline Partners include Astilleros de Mallorca, BWA Yachting, D-Marin, Evolution Yacht Agents, IPM-IMG Marine Group, Nautipaints Group, Ocibar, Pinmar and Repsol.
In addition, Small Group Session Partners — Amico & Co, Astondoa, i-Deal, MB92 Group and Lusben — play a key role in shaping the working sessions and facilitating industry dialogue.
A working platform for the future of yachting
Rather than positioning itself as a traditional event, the Mediterranean Superyacht Forum is designed as a structured (net)working environment where industry stakeholders engage in defining common priorities and coordinated responses.
In this context, participation is not passive. It is a contribution to the collective construction of the sector’s future.
