MENGI YAY LAUNCHES 52.5M FLAGSHIP EXPLORER YACHT VIRTUS XP
The result of a meticulous engineering process and a clear, unwavering vision, NB 113 reflects Mengi Yay’s 62 years of shipbuilding expertise, as well as a tangible representation of the Turkish yacht building industry’s growing strength on the global stage.
Developed with a focus on long-range capability and open-sea performance, Virtus XP offers a balanced approach between efficiency, durability, and onboard comfort. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure are supported by a robust engineering infrastructure suited for demanding sea conditions, while being complemented by a modern and timeless design language.
Both the interior and exterior design of the yacht bear the signature of VYD Studio, while naval architecture and engineering calculations have been developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Owner’s representation throughout the project has been carried out by Antalyacht.

Virtus XP brings together expansive exterior deck areas with a functional and refined interior layout, aiming to deliver a seamless and well-balanced living experience during extended periods at sea. The flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, ease of use, and spatial continuity stand as key design principles of the project.
With a length of 52.5 metres, Virtus XP stands as the largest yacht ever built by our shipyard and has now taken its place as the flagship of our current fleet.
Following her launch, Virtus XP is scheduled to begin sea trials in the coming days, ahead of delivery. The yacht is also expected to make her international debut at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show.
With Virtus XP, our shipyard further strengthens its presence in the explorer segment, once again demonstrating its commitment to building robust, efficient, and design-driven superyachts.

Virtus XP reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, offering a range of approximately 6,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. With a fuel capacity exceeding 65,000 litres, along with 15,000 litres of fresh water and 11,500 litres of black and grey water capacity, the yacht is designed for extended cruising.
Holding the RINA C+ Hull • MACH • YCh Unrestricted classification, the yacht also complies with REG Yacht Code, DMS, and Ice Class Comfort Class standards, ensuring a strong balance between performance, safety, and comfort.
