2026 CICPE SANYA BOAT FESTIVAL ADVANCES INTERNATIONALIZATION, REINFORCING SANYA AS CHINA’S GLOBAL YACHTING GATEWAY
From April 15 to 18, 2026, the 2026 CICPE Sanya Boat Festival will take place at Sanya International Yacht Center. Under the theme “China’s Gateway, Sailing into the Future,” the event reinforces Sanya’s position as a strategic international hub for China’s yachting industry.
As an integral part of the China International Consumer Products Expo, the Sanya Boat Festival continues to elevate its international profile. This year’s edition is expected to attract leading brands from major yacht-producing countries including France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada, with international brands accounting for more than 70% of exhibitors. At the same time, prominent Chinese builders such as Dalian Huanzhu, Qingdao Haoyun, and Qihang Yachts will showcase their latest developments, highlighting the growing capability and competitiveness of China’s yacht manufacturing sector. The exhibition scale will reach a new high, featuring approximately 200 vessels, including 15 China premieres and six superyachts over 80 feet.
Aligned with global trends toward sustainability and intelligent technologies, the event will introduce a dedicated New Energy Yacht Zone, showcasing electric and alternative-energy vessels and providing a platform for Chinese innovation to engage with international markets. Leveraging the policy advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port, Sanya is actively building a globally oriented ecosystem for yacht trade and services.
Beyond product display, the 2026 CICPE Sanya Boat Festival serves as a key platform for industry collaboration and commercial exchange. Through an integrated framework of exhibition, competition, conference, networking and awards, the event will host the Global Yachting Industry Conference, business matchmaking sessions, and multiple brand launches. Meanwhile, curated lifestyle experiences such as “Yacht + Dining” and “Yacht + Fishing” aim to expand yachting from a niche luxury into a broader lifestyle proposition.
During the event, the Sanya Yacht Import & Export Trade Association will also make its official debut, focusing on facilitating outbound expansion for Chinese yacht brands and strengthening international cooperation. Supported by policy innovation, industry momentum, and market demand, Sanya is emerging as a key node connecting China’s yachting industry with the global market.
