BENETTI CELEBRATES THE SLIPWAY LAUNCH OF THE CLASS 44M M/Y FORTITUDE1

A moment of great symbolic significance for the Viareggio shipyard, M/Y FORTITUDE¹ is the result of renewed trust from a loyal client. Thoughtfully crafted with bespoke attention to detail, the yacht carries the distinctive signature of Cassetta Yacht Designers.

Viareggio, June 4, 2025 – Benetti has celebrated the slipway launch of M/Y FORTITUDE¹, the newest yacht in the Class 44M line, the largest fiberglass model built at the Viareggio shipyard. She represents a perfect blend of style, functionality, and customization.

This new vessel is the result of a long-standing collaboration between Benetti, the Owner – already the owner of a previous model – and the design studio Cassetta Yacht Designers, responsible for both the exterior lines and interior design.

The slipway launch of M/Y FORTITUDE¹ marks more than just a technical step in the yacht’s construction, it is a moment rich with symbolic significance. This tradition pays homage to Italy’s maritime heritage, made possible by the historic inclined slipway which allows for the vessel’s evocative entry into the water. It is a ritual imbued with deep meaning, celebrating the craftsmanship and authentic spirit that define every Benetti yacht.

Designed to welcome and bring people together, M/Y FORTITUDE¹ is a true invitation to conviviality. Natural light takes center stage, pouring generously through expansive glass surfaces that enhance the interior architecture. Clean lines and refined materials, such as the white marble flooring on the Main Deck, interact gracefully with a light-toned color palette, creating bright, inviting spaces infused with understated elegance.

Among the yacht’s most captivating areas are the spacious panoramic Sky Lounge, the beach area, and the aft section of the Main Deck, all thoughtfully designed to encourage moments of relaxation and conviviality. These spaces reflect the Owner’s vision of experiencing the sea as something to be shared, in an atmosphere of warmth and refinement.

The exterior design reinterprets the signature features of the Class line with timeless elegance and harmonious proportions. The outdoor decks offer many custom touches, including a large forward sunpad on the Upper Deck, tailor-made for the Owner.

M/Y FORTITUDE¹ now enters the final outfitting phase, with delivery scheduled for summer 2025. This new project reaffirms Benetti’s role as an ambassador of Italian yachting excellence, masterfully blending tradition, innovation, and bespoke design in every vessel.
