LAUNCH OF THE AMELS 80
The Damen Yachting team is proud to announce the launch of the third hull in the Amels 80 series at the Damen Yachting hull-building facility in Galati, Romania. Following the successful launch, this 80-metre (261-foot) superyacht will embark on her journey to Vlissingen the Netherlands, where she will enter the next phase of outfitting.
Designed with an exterior by Espen Øino, the Amels 80 combines exceptional performance with contemporary aesthetics. While details of the interior remain confidential, the yacht promises to uphold the series’ reputation for luxury and innovative design.
Damen Yachting Project Manager Sander Peeters remarked on the milestone, “Witnessing the third Amels 80 take to the water is an inspiring moment for the entire team. We’re looking forward to her arrival in the Netherlands and advancing towards her delivery.”
The third Amels 80 is scheduled for completion in 2026.
