PANERAI UNVEILS RADIOMIR PERPETUAL CALENDAR GMT GOLDTECH™
To celebrate the anniversary of Radiomir the first wristwatch prototype ever developed by the Maison on October 24th, 1935 – Panerai has dedicated its Perpetual Calendar complication to this iconic collection, resulting in the new Radiomir Perpetual Calendar GMT GoldtechTM PAM01453. Expanding the Radiomir universe, this timepiece is enhanced by the elegance of Panerai’s proprietary GoldtechTM, paying tribute to the collection that most embodies the origins of the brand.
At the heart of the PAM01453 is the P.4100, an automatic movement developed over five years, enabling crown-only adjustments for day, date, month, and leap year. The watch also features a GMT complication with a 24-hour display, ideal for tracking multiple time zones. Despite its complexity, the movement is compact at 35.1 mm in diameter and 7 mm thick. The dial is designed to display minutes, hours, small seconds, day, and date, with additional details visible through the sapphire open case back.
Housed in a Panerai GoldtechTM case with a white sun-brushed sandwich dial, the watch embodies the key elements of the Radiomir line, including the cushion-shaped case and Super-LumiNova® filled sandwich dial. Water-resistant up to 100 meters, the timepiece is paired with a brown alligator strap and BDR clasp for comfort and elegance. The PAM01453 is available exclusively at Panerai boutiques, appealing to collectors who appreciate fine details, aesthetics, and heritage.
