BAGLIETTO LAUNCHES THE FIFTH DOM 133 MOTOR YACHT “ASTERA”

The fifth hull in the successful DOM 133 line, designed by Stefano Vafiadis – who, on this unit, also took care of interiors – hit the water a few days ago in the port of Carrara and was then moved to the La Spezia shipyard for final fitting-out operations.

The technical launch was also attended by the Owners, who reached Tuscany together with their representative Robert Lama.

M/Y Astera preserves the key features that have made the success of this line, like the beach club on two levels (with an infinity pool fitted with a lifting bottom which rises to make the already spacious main deck cockpit even larger) and the incredibly generous volumes, truly unmatched in her class.

Hull #10246 also confirms the high level of customisation the shipyard can offer on standard yachts too: compared to her previous sister ships, significant innovations have been implemented on this unit, mainly aimed at maximising a sense of openness. The saloon on the upper deck, for instance, has a window-door that also opens up on the sides onto two small balconies, while the decision to move the ventilation ducts outside on the main deck means that the main saloon can now enjoy a full glazing on the left side of the vessel.

This aluminium displacement yacht mounts two Caterpillar C32 engines allowing her to reach an impressive maximum speed of 17 knots.
