THE MANGUSTA OCEANO FLAGSHIP HITS THE WATER
The Mangusta Oceano 50 is a 499 GT displacement yacht with steel hull and aluminium superstructure designed and built thanks to the synergy between the shipyard’s technical departments, designer Alberto Mancini, and P.L.A.N.A. Design of engineer Ausonio.
The Mangusta Oceano 50 offers her passengers generous interior and exterior spaces, seamlessly connected thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows and special opening systems.
Outdoors, the beach area certainly deserves a special mention: the three aft and side doors open up completely to convert into three connected terraces on the water, fully equipped to allow the Owner and his guests to experience an incredibly close contact with the sea. The bow area, too, features a number of cutting-edge technological solutions: the airy and stylish cockpit is located above the garage and, once the tender has been launched, access can be gained to a 6 m x. 2.6 m pool fitted with a special counterflow swimming system and hydromassage. A second pool can be found on the sundeck.
Stepping inside, the spacious 52 sq. m./560 sq./ft. master stateroom is located on the main deck and has an exclusive fully-automated balcony overlooking the sea. On the lower deck, the Owner has chosen a configuration with 5 guest cabins, including a full-beam VIP cabin with separate access.
“Both interior and exterior furniture and furnishings have been designed by our interior design team to become a bespoke garment that will perfectly fit the Owner’s wishes and requests”, says Mangusta Sales Manager Nicolò Strocco, who secured the sale of this yacht.
This vessel is equipped with two MTU 12V 2000 M86, 1700 hp engines that allow her to reach a speed of 16 knots and ensure a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots, which means crossing the ocean in the utmost comfort.
The Mangusta Oceano 50 has won several international awards, including overseas, where the second unit in this series was chosen as the “Best in Show” at the latest Fort Lauderdale Boat Show – an award bestowed to the best yacht on display.
6 more vessels in the Mangusta Oceano series are currently under construction at the Pisa shipyard. The series also includes a new 44 m model, the first unit of which was presented last year at the Monaco Yacht Show. The next vessels in the Mangusta Oceano line available for sale will be a Mangusta Oceano 44 and a Mangusta Oceano 50, ready for delivery in the summer of 2025 and in the summer of 2026, respectively.
