VisionF Yachts appoints Ali Tanir as General Manager

– VisionF Yachts’ new GM has almost 20 years of experience in international operations in the industry

– Ali Tanir has worked at Numarine for the past 11 years at various positions ranging from Communication and Brand Manager to Head of International Sales

Turkish yacht builder VisionF Yachts has strengthened its team by appointing Ali Tanir as General Manager, a significant step towards implementing the company’s long-term strategy. Founded just four years ago, the Istanbul-based shipyard specialises in producing composite and aluminium motor catamarans and is now poised to capitalise on Tanir’s vast experience.

“We strive to establish ourselves in the elite of the yachting world, and the new move will help us achieve this,” said Coskun Bayraktar, Founder and Owner of VisionF Yachts. “I believe Ali Tanir is the perfect executive for the role of our new General Manager and with him leading the way we will be able to realise the most daring plans.”

Ali Tanir has almost 20 years of experience in the yachting sector. From 2012 to 2023, he held various executive positions at Numarine starting as Communication and Brand Manager, and then moving into the role of Sales and Marketing Manager and Head of International Sales.

Prior to joining Numarine, Ali Tanir worked for a number of companies and institutions on the market, namely Istanbul Offshore Club, Vicem Yachts, Yuka Yacht and the UIM Class 1 Powerboating series.

VisionF Yachts has delivered three 24-metre VisionF 80 catamarans and is about to launch the fourth unit of the series. The shipyard’s range of catamarans includes the following models: VisionF 80 GRP, VisionF 82 Aluminium, VisionF 100 Carbon Fiber & Kevlar, VisionF 101 Aluminium.
