Customizing a Catamaran with Fernando Alonso

The Sunreef Yachts Team welcomed two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso at the shipyard to take a deep dive into the yacht design and manufacturing process. Fernando Alonso, future owner of an electric 60 Sunreef Power Eco took this opportunity to speak to the team and learn more about the Sunreef Yachts know-how.

Currently under construction at the shipyard in Gdansk, his luxury catamaran will be customized to his exact specifications to reach the highest levels of sustainability and energy efficiency.

Combining state-of-the-art electric propulsion and avant-gardist green tech, his yacht will be the first Sunreef Eco edition of the 60 Sunreef Power. Equipped with the shipyard’s composite-integrated photovoltaic system and the industry’s lightest batteries, the yacht will offer a unique emission-free yachting experience.
