HOFA launches an extraordinary exhibition on water during Art Basel Miami Week 2022

The impeccable design by Njord by Bergman Interiors features over twenty HOFA artworks highly curated to convey subject matter influenced by the special ambience of this floating gallery space.

Pioneering international contemporary art gallery HOFA Gallery, continues to celebrate its tenth anniversary by launching an extraordinary exhibition on water during the week of Art Basel Miami 2022.

The floating gallery is curated on the 56.0m award winning super yacht ‘Galaxy’ and commissioned by art collectors and connoisseurs Dave Hagewood and Danielle Hill. It is part of the ambitious and impressive new interiors by renowned yacht interior designers Njord by Bergman Interiors. Galaxy features a permanent collection of twenty HOFA artworks and some exceptional additional works for the exclusive party with official partners Mont Blanc Vodka on Saturday 3 December 2022.

The collection presented will amplify the innovative talent of HOFA’s exhibiting artists and communicate their pursuit for progression, simulation and experimentation, that go beyond recognised conventions. HOFA’s leading artists have been selected and curated alongside blue-chip artists such as Daniel Arsham. Highlights include Australian artist Jason Sims who blurs the lines between reality and illusion using the properties of light and reflection.

Other notable works featured are by Dutch artist Joseph Klibansky who examines the relationship between a ‘thing’ and its’ essence, and what we see and what an image implies. And British artist and ex solider, Bran Symondson, whose works rest on the premise of taking something of fear and loathing and turning it into something of beauty and intrigue.

HOFA Co-founder and Galaxy artwork collection curator Simonida Pavicevic says about the project, “This exhibition and launch embraces a major milestone for HOFA in celebrating our tenth anniversary. We hope to unite art and design and cohere with the creative social climate and artistic aesthetics taking place this week in Miami.”

Pavicevic adds, “It has been an honour to work with the Njord by Bergman Interiors team and Galaxy’s owners Dave Hagewood and Danielle Hill. I feel we have all come together to create a truly unique art experience. We are delighted this extraordinary collection will travel to the corners of the world for many to enjoy.”
