Iryna
Cannes Yachting Festival
Azimut will present three premieres at Cannes: Magellano 30M, Grande 26M and Grande 36M. Magellano 30M, the new flagship in the Magellano Line of crossovers designed by the Italian Yard, is a modern yacht that offers great freedom of navigation in a variety of sea conditions, interiors of unrivalled comfort and flexibility, and a forward-looking design resulting from the collaboration between Azimut and two outstanding creatives from Italy and the UK respectively: Vincenzo De Cotiis, who designed the sophisticated interiors with their irregular architecture, and Ken Freivokh, whose clean vision elegantly sculpted the exteriors. The new Magellano 30M, like the rest of the range, forms part of Azimut’s family of low emission yachts thanks to the Dual Mode hull, which makes it possible to reduce emissions by 20% compared with traditional hard chine hulls.
Grande 26M features the striking Fold-Up Sea View Terrace, a stern door that opens by rotating upwards, extending the cockpit and transforming it into a sensational terrace overlooking the water, while Grande 36M is the first model to introduce the semi-walkaround upper deck, which runs from the stern to the tip of the bow, all on the same level. Both chart an ambitious course for Azimut, involving the redefinition of spaces by leveraging versatility, design ingenuity, technological intuition and the outstanding design skills of Alberto Mancini for the exteriors and Achille Salvagni for the interiors.
The Cannes Yachting Festival 2022 will also be the stage on which the yard presents its other
yachts: Grande Trideck, Magellano 25M, Magellano 66, Fly 78, Fly 68, Fly 53, S10, S8, S6 Atlantis 51.
Monaco Yacht Show
Azimut will also be taking part in the high-profile 2022 Monaco Yacht Show with Magellano 30M, Grande 36M and Grande Trideck, confirming its leadership in the segment over 24 metres.
The Genoa International Boat Show will again feature Grande 26M alongside the Yard’s other new models.
Cannes yachting Festival
Benetti is taking two premieres to the Cannes Yachting Festival, Oasis 34M and B.Yond 37M, in addition to the Motopanfilo 37M.
Oasis 34M BO202, an expression of the modern and enterprising spirit that animates Benetti, is the new superyacht in the Oasis family that showcases the exclusiveness of the Oasis Deck solution®, celebrating seamless continuity between the spaces on board and the sea. The exterior styling is by UK firm RWD and the interiors are designed by New York-based architects Bonetti & Kozerski.
B.Yond 37M BX101 Goga embodies the excellence of a new Voyager series. This state-of-the-art yacht in terms of its environmental impact is for good reason the greenest boat in its class. B.Yond 37M combines SCR catalytic filters with Siemens Energy’s innovative E-Mode Hybrid system, which makes it possible to optimise on-board energy consumption according to specific usage profiles. The yacht’s extremely flexible layout is a product of the revolutionary vision of Paolo Vitelli, Founder and President of Azimut|Benetti Group, and the creative genius of architect Stefano Righini. Open and spacious, the interior design is by Benetti architect Mauro Izzo, while the interior decor is by leading contemporary design brand Giorgetti.
Motopanfilo 37M BMP02 is a displacement yacht built from composite materials (the first model made its debut last year at Cannes). Elegant and modern, it revisits the style, classicism and love of the sea expressed by Benetti navettas from the 1960s, giving the design a fresh and contemporary twist. The exterior design is by Francesco Struglia in partnership with Benetti and the interiors are by Lazzarini & Pickering.
Monaco Yacht Show
Here the Yard will be presenting the new B.Now 50M Iryna, Triumph 65M and B.Yond 37M.
Iryna FB602, the first B.Now 50M unit, stands out for the exclusive 36-square-metre beach club at the water’s edge. Nearly half the liveable surface area is outdoor, while the fully customizable interiors embody all Benetti’s traditional craftsmanship and quality. The impressively sleek and sporty exterior styling is by UK firm RWD, while the interiors are the result of collaboration between Benetti’s Interior Style Department and Visionnaire.
Triumph 65M FB270 is one of the most recent megayachts launched by Benetti. 65 metres long, she extends across five enclosed decks plus a Sundeck, achieving an exquisite balance between volume and length. The yacht’s sleek, sculpted exterior styling is the work of Cassetta Yacht Designers, the interiors are by Benetti’s style department, and Green & Mingarelli Design handled the decorative aspects. The result is a unique yacht characterised by a style that combines ethnicity and luxury. This year the mega yacht Triumph 65M also climbed to the top step of the podium at the World Superyacht Awards in the Displacement Motor Yachts, 1,000GT to 1,499GT category.
