Sunreef Yachts makes waves in Shenzhen
The Sunreef Yachts shipyard hosted an exclusive presentation on the Sunreef Yachts Sailing Academy in Shenzhen, China on 18th May. Organised together with local Sunreef representative, Speedo Marine, the event welcomed more than 50 guests to a sophisticated venue to learn more about the beauty of sailing.
World-class sailor, Steve Ravussin, was amongst the special guests of the Sunreef Yachts Sailing Academy event. Ravussin shared his thrilling sailing experiences on multihull yachts, echoing the primary focus of the initiative: to reveal that the possibilities of sailing extend far beyond regattas and competitions.
The Sunreef Yachts Sailing Academy promotes the beauty of sailing; travelling to the farthest parts of the globe, connecting with nature and spending quality time with family and friends. Sailing is about escaping the hustle and bustle of city life and everyday duties and taking the time to enjoy carefree moments. With this event, Sunreef Yachts and Speedo Marine aim to bring yachting to a broader audience in the region.
Other speakers during the Sunreef Yachts Sailing Academy presentation included Francis Lapp, President and founder of Sunreef Yachts, and James Li, President of Speedo Marine. Francis Lapp states: “This initiative was one of the first activities undertaken in cooperation between Sunreef Yachts and Speedo Marine. The success of this first venture has been fantastic, and we look forward to more joint projects in China in the coming months”.
