Benetti launched the seventh unit of fast 140 and delivered its seventh fast 125 in Viareggio
The seventh unit of Fast 140, BF207, was launched in Viareggio. She’s a 42-meter yacht that can host 12 people in 6 cabins on 4 decks. This yacht distinguishes herself for her performance, for Righini’s streamlined exteriors and the strong personality of her interior design. Her interiors are furnished according to the LAND’s style that, together with SEA and AIR, completes the RWD designs that Benetti provides for Fast 125 and Fast 140 owners. The Fast 140 is equipped with the D2P_Displacement to Planing®hull, which, in combination with twin 3,500 hp engines by MTU, allows to reach a speed of over 20 knots with maximum comfort.
The Main Deck of BF207 has a strong visual contact with the sea through wide panoramic glazed surfaces of the full beam owner’s suite and of the living room, embellished with Wengè and Walnut woods. The Upper Deck has a big outdoor relaxation area with modular seatings. A sliding door gives access to a light-filled saloon amidships containing a living area and an American bar. At the bow, the captain’s cabin is adjacent to the wheelhouse area which overlooks the outside with sun loungers and swimming pool. The Sun Deck has been designed for the maximum comfort: big sofas, a bar and sun loungers from where enjoying the surroundings, either at anchor or while cruising. Four cabins in the Lower Deck make up the guests’ sleeping area. On the same deck, the comfortable and spacious beach club with bar and living area is designed for moments of conviviality outdoors. The yacht has a range of 500 nautical miles at an average speed of 16.5 knots and at 12 knots rises to 1,800 miles. The maximum speed is about 23 knots.
The seventh delivery in two years of one of the Benetti brand’s most successful models: on the 24thof April in Viareggio, BF107, a 38 meter-long Fast 125 yacht, was delivered. Like her seven sisters, the BF107 is equipped with an AZP C65 propulsion system, realized in collaboration with Rolls Royce, which is the most technologically advanced system on the market. This system has drastically reduced the noise and vibrational nuisances of the model and has brought about further improvement in its manoeuvring capabilities.
The special D2P_Displacement to Planing®hull, designed by Pierluigi Ausonio and the Centre for Research and Development at Azimut Benetti and equipped with a wave piercer, additionally allows for this superyacht to combine the advantages of a displacement hull at low speeds with those of a high-performance planing hull, guaranteeing reduced fuel consumption.
The Fast 125 consists of four bridges and is host to five guest cabins: a master suite for the owners, two cabins featuring double beds, and two with twin beds. The crew area accommodates up to seven people. BF107 is characterized by large spaces: the height of the decks (2.10 meters) and the huge spaces available on board are particularly noteworthy.
The external and sporty lines are the work of Stefano Righini, who has made use of horizontal windows to accentuate even more the slender aspects of the yacht. The interior makes use of bleached eucalyptus and dark tay wood and has been done up in the AIR style, which, together with LAND and SEA, is one of three designed by RWD.
This project distinguishes itself from the other six models through the external layout of the Sun Deck, which features a bar in the bow area, while amidships there is a living space with a couch, smoking tables, and a dining space with a custom 10-seat table and L-shape couch. The stern features a sunbathing area and hosts four chaise lounges. In order to maximize the amount of useable space, the external tables located on the Main and Upper Decks were designed with movement in mind and allow for these spaces to be used in various ways, according to one’s needs.
The engine room houses two 2,600 horsepower MTU (16V 2000M96L) motors, thanks to which this yacht can reach a maximum speed of 22 knots. The range at 12 knots is of 1,750 nautical miles.
