Adler starts construction of the first Superyacht Suprema X
Adler Yacht was so convinced of its decision to take the brand into superyacht territory with its new 25.25m flagship that it decided to build the yacht on speculation. Construction of the first Adler Suprema X is under way at the Alto Adriatico shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, with launching scheduled for 2019.
The Suprema X Hybrid retains all the innovative features of the Adler Suprema introduced in 2016, including carbon fibre/Kevlar construction and dynamic styling by Nuvolari Lenard, but at over two metres longer the increase in interior and exterior space provides owners and guests with even more volume and comfort.
The lower deck guest accommodation comprises two en-suite guest cabins, and a forward VIP suite and full-beam owner’s stateroom with independent access.
Theopen-plan main deck offers a spacious salon, dining for 8 guests, galley, day head, separate wheelhouse and Jacuzzi on the open foredeck.
The flexible fly bridge solutions provide owners with various layouts. The T-top with sunsails and hardtop with sun window versions provide maximum exposure to the sunshine and sea breeze.
Alternatively, owners can choose the enclosed sky lounge version with a single helm station and opt to remove the main deck wheelhouse. In this case, the layout can be revised to provide even more guest space.
Combining Italian design with German and Austrian engineering, the Suprema X is available with conventional or hybrid propulsion. In the latter case, the Hybrid Marine Solution (HMS) package combines two electric motors and generators (E-Units), two Caterpillar C18 engines and battery banks of 170kW.
In diesel mode, the yacht will have a top speed of 30 knots, while in full-electric mode will be able to cruise at 10 knots without exhaust fumes, vibration or noise– perfect for island hopping, cruising protected waters or enjoying the generous beach platform and cockpit even while under way.
