Benetti Two More Fast 125’ Unit Launches
M/Y “My Way and M/Y “Charade”, respectively the fifth and sixth Fast 125’ model units built to date, have been successfully launched in Viareggio. Both yachts are fitted with the Azipull Carbon 65 (AZP C65) propulsion system developed through exclusive collaboration with Rolls Royce and will be delivered to their owners before summer.
The Azipull is a highly efficient propulsion system that exploits the extensive use of composite materials to reduce the weight of the yacht’s propulsion system. The new propulsion units are the main feature of Fast 125’ models, allowing for better distribution of the space on board, while maintaining high propulsion efficiency, excellent handling and ease of maintenance.
The two yachts share the same revolutionary D2P_Displacement to Planing® hull with wave piercer, combining the benefits of a displacement hull at low speeds with those of a high performance planing hull. Designed by Pierluigi Ausonio with the Azimut|Benetti Research & Development center, this technology delivers reduced consumption at cruising speed and a top speed of over 20 knots.
With a length of 38.1 meters and a beam of 8.23 meters, the layout of these two yachts extends over four decks, which provide the space for four VIP cabins, the owner’s suite, a lounge with indoor dining area on the Main Deck and another small lounge on the Upper Deck, plus the Sun Deck, which is given over entirely to entertaining guests, who will be able to choose between two swimming pools, one on the Sun Deck and another larger, made-to-measure one in the bow on the Upper Deck.
BF105 and BF106 stand out for their sporty exteriors designed by Stefano Righini, while the interiors are by UK-based design studio RWD. The two yachts are fitted out with the Air configuration, the most contemporary of the three interior options (Air, Land, Sea) offered to Fast 125’ owners by Benetti.
Before FB105 and FB106, the previous four Fast 125’ units delivered are “Iron Man”, “Constance Joy”, “Skyler” and “Lejos3”.
