Princess Yachts at the Dubai International Boat Show 2018

Princess continues on an upward trajectory with an order book at a retail value currently exceeding USD$1 Billion. With five product launches last year and another six planned for  this year along with production planned to exceed 290 yachts, the Plymouth-based shipyard has bolstered its workforce by over 25% to 2,600 across 6 sites.

Boot Düsseldorf kicked off 2018 with a return to V Class with the global launches of the dynamic V65 and V50.  To further strengthen the S Class, Princess also launched the sociable S78 featuring double sunpads each side of a central aft staircase and versatile al fresco spaces.  Furthermore, it’s an audiophile’s dream, as it was engineered together with Naim throughout, encompassing the sport bridge, saloon, cockpit and master cabin.  The audiophile system was designed at the very outset of this product and takes a giant leap forward in acoustic engineering and state-of-the-art connectivity and performance.

Leading the way in customer care and ensuring the owner, all family and guests on board have the best support, Princess have partnered with MedAire to offer Princess Lifeline which now comes with each and every new Princess yacht.  It provides around the clock access to medical and travel safety experts, real-time travel safety information and primary contact throughout any trip, anywhere in the world.

Princess will also launch something very special later this year that will revolutionise their approach to yacht design – the all-new R Class.  ‘We have been working with BAR Technologies for 2 years (part of the British team in the America’s Cup) to build the fastest fully carbon-fibre Princess yacht to date and it will be the fastest and sexiest yacht we have produced’, says Antony Sheriff, Executive Chairman, Princess Yachts

Princess 68 – on display in Dubai

The Princess 68 is a breathtakingly beautiful craft. Her spacious flybridge includes a large sunpad, twin helm and a wetbar for on hand refreshment. On deck she provides ample entertaining space with both cockpit and foredeck seating and an inviting sunbathing area. Out at sea, her exhilarating performance feels light and responsive all the way up to speeds in excess of 30 knots. It’s an altogether distinctive experience.

Inside, her appeal becomes all the more alluring. An aft-galley layout is perfectly placed to serve the cockpit, with triple sliding doors and an electrically opening aft window. Expansive areas of glass allow light to pour into the saloon, with the helm enjoying raised L-shaped seating to port for a more social journey. The master stateroom has a private stairwell and lobby, whilst guests enjoy a separate stairwell and three class-leading cabins.

During the Dubai International Boat Show 2018, join us at stand MD 70 to experience the exceptional Princess 68, from 27th February until 3rd March.
