Leading names in French Tech and Normandie Participations invest in Iguana Yachts
Iguana Yachts designs, develops and manufactures luxury amphibious boats equipped with tracks. The patented Iguana Yachts technology combines navigation performances worthy of the finest boats with a power train system, making it possible to travel over all types of ground. Iguana yacht owners can consequently go from land to sea without leaving the boat. Today more than 30 units travel and sail across the world: Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, England, France, Greece, Nigeria, Morocco, USA, Canada, Saint Martin and the Virgin Islands.
The company has just raised capital of more than 2 M€. Led by Normandie Participations, this operation associates the founder, longstanding investors and a pool of new investors. Among the latter: Pierre-Noël Luiggi (president of Oscaro)via his investment fund Indenoi, Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet via his fund Kernel Investissements and Dan Vogel, founder of Enablon and business angel.
After seeing double digit progression for the last five years, the company wants to further accelerate its growth by selecting new international distributors and by expanding its range of boats.
Boats from Iguana Yachts are a symbol of the excellence of Normandy savoir-faire, both in terms of construction materials with the use of cutting edge materials, and in terms of innovative capacity, as illustrated by the unique patented track system.
