Palumbo Group appoints new general manager for the yachting division

Palumbo Group along with the CEO Giuseppe Palumbo is happy to announce the appointment of Francesco Carbone as new General Manager of the Yachting Division.

Francesco Carbone joins Palumbo from Admiral-Tecnomar, where he had a long and successful career as Sales Director and President of the American branch over the past eight years, contributing to the rapid growth of the company .

Prior to that, he served for over eight years as Head of the Strategic Business Unit at Natuzzi Group – the world’s largest upholstery manufacturer listed on Wall Street.

He holds a degree in law and a master in business administration.

“Francesco knows the yachting industry from the bottom up. His professionalism, knowledge and experience over the international markets will be crucial to bring our yacht brands to the next aimed level. The recent acquisition of lSA YACHTS confirms our long term strategies” – stated Giuseppe Palumbo about Carbone’s new role.

Francesco Carbone commented his new challenge: “I am excited about the opportunity to lead ISA Yachts and Columbus Yachts toward the next step of Palumbo’s strategic development.

With 50 years of shipbuilding heritage, a very strong family approach and the financial stability – I see Palumbo Group as a perfect player able to achieve important goals in the actual phase of the yachting business”.
