The Griffin’s Nicaragua Special Edition 2016 delights with its rich and complex character. Inspired by the night, this Edition 2016 delivers a pronounced spiciness arising from the Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos. The taste experience happens at the back of the palate, beginning with rich aromas. Soon, bitter chocolate, sweet corn and oak wood flavours deliver a fascinating creamy aftertaste. An exciting composition of aged Dominican Honduran and Nicaraguan premium tobaccos underlines the status of a Griffin’s Special Edition: the blend combines a shiny and veinless Domini can wrapper, a San Vicente binder from the Dominican Republic and filler tobaccos from Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. These tobaccos are very oily and make the cigar an ideal candidate to collect and age. The draw is perfect, with a sharp combustion and a beautiful white ash. These cigars should be enjoyed during a cocktail or aperitif, or after a light dinner.
The cigars also bear a black main ring with the Griffin’s hot foiled in chili red to perfectly match with the oily wrapper.
