Sunreef Yachts Concludes the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016 with a Great Success
With three custom-made catamarans on display including 2 European Premieres, the Sunreef Yachts shipyard attracted a lot of attention among visitors from all over the world at this year’s edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival held between the 6th and 11th of September 2016. The company presented the sailing version of its revolutionary Sunreef Supreme 68 – a brand new catamaran concept with a phenomenal living space of 300m², the sailing catamaran Sunreef 74 and motor yacht – 70 Sunreef Power.
The yachts exhibited not only were a great display of the shipyard’s versatility in terms of customization but also inspired visitors to order catamarans on the company’s stand during the show. Sunreef Yachts Sales Team supported by the shipyard’s exclusive dealers concluded namely two contracts for newly built Sunreef 74’s and one Sunreef Supreme 68 Power.
On September 8, Sunreef Yacht’s Marketing and PR Team hosted press representatives and journalists from the most renowned nautical magazines onboard the Sunreef Supreme 68 Midori to discuss the innovative concept of the Sunreef Supreme range with the shipyard’s Founder and President – Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts Head of Interior Design Department – Joanna Szulc and Bram Van Scharen – collaborating designer and decorator. The shipyard also seized the opportunity of the press conference to announce the construction start of a fully personalized double deck sailing superyacht-catamaran – the Sunreef 88 Double Deck. With the contract concluded in July 2016 , the mould of this all new model is currently being built at the company’s production site in Gdansk, Poland.
As every year, Sunreef Yachts Annual Cocktail Reception attracted a lot of interest. Over 300 guests including yacht owners, journalists and brokers, gathered at the Sunreef Yachts stand for a night of celebration, filled with music and live entertainment on September 9.
The following day brought even more success and satisfaction to the shipyard, as the company’s latest project – the Sunreef Supreme 68 was awarded at the prestigious World Yachts Trophies gala for its layout in the category of yachts ranging between 15 and 24m in length. The award was received by Sunreef Yachts representatives: President – Francis Lapp, Director of Design Office at Sunreef Yachts – Nicolas Lapp and Karolina Paszkiewicz – Marketing Director at Sunreef Yachts, all present on the event’s stage next to the Carlton Hotel’s beach on the 10th of September 2016.
After a successful show in Cannes, Sunreef Yachts team is preparing for the exhibition in Fort Lauderdale held between the 3rd and the 7th of November.
