Sale of Cantieri di Pisa 22
Robeco Zambrini is pleased to announce to have signed the sale of the 22m project Cantieri di Pisa 22 new construction during the Cannes Yachting Festival. This sale is the second of the year just a month later the sign of the first Akhir 42S. This is the first unit of the Cantieri di Pisa 22 line, designed by Luca Dini. The sale was conducted by Kurt Lehman of Yacht Moments.
The benchmark of this new line, Cantieri di Pisa22, dates back to 1965 when “Kitalpha”, a 15m motor yacht built by Cantieri di Pisa, achieved a great success. Luca Dini kept the style of a gentleman yacht by referring to its shape and elegant lines and bringing back some signature details and wood elements. Moreover, since wood is the basic staple in the history of navigation, the Designer’s aim was to give it back a leading role and this has proven to be a perfect opportunity, even if the structural materials are steel or aluminum.
These large areas of the super structure and even the inner face of the gunwale are covered in wood that considerably characterized yacht aesthetics in the past. From these choices was born a real timeless yacht that combines the charm of vintage boats with stylistic and technologic solutions of the present day.
With an overall length of 22.50m, a beam overall of 6.50m and steel hull and superstructure, the Cantieri di Pisa 22 will reach a maximum speed of 14 knots.
THE INTERIORS
The yacht hosts in the Lower Deck a large 0wner’s cabin and two guests’ cabins. Each guests’ cabin features a private bathroom, whereas the 0wner’s one foresees a double bathroom; accommodation for two crew members is fitted at the bow.
The Main Deck plays on two levels: towards the aft is a raised external seating area, while going forward we enter a cost formal salon and the wheelhouse. Going furtherly towards the bow we descend three steps and enter another area in which on port side is arranged a fully equipped galley, while on the starboard side is placed a large U-shaped sofa that can feature different functions: it can be used as a comfortable dining area or game area or as an additional living room.
The LAYOUT
The stern cockpit on Main Deck Hosts the tender while on the lower Deck. We have an amazing beach area, gym or SPA; the large folding aft door creates a huge platform on the water, while the sliding glass doors allow air –conditioning of the closed area. Once the tender is launched by its dedicated crane, the main deck stern cockpit can be lifted as a lounge area with loose furniture.
