ART Marine & SilverCent have partnered

ART Marine & SilverCent have partnered for the development and operation of a new marina project in the Maldives

SilverCent, with the mission to enhance the Maldivian tourism with lucrative and innovative tourism products and services has recently signed an MOU with ART Marine to develop a world-class Marina in the country. ART Marine will be supporting and advising SilverCent during the development phase, and, upon completion, will become the operator and manager of the new marina. The famous Italian designer Giancarlo Zema will bring to the resort and marina an innovative and attractive architecture totally integrated with the Maldivian culture and the sea.

Ahmed Zuhair, Managing Director of SilverCent, said, “Our Country is mostly water and the economy is mainly driven by tourism. Maldives is becoming a popular destination for the yachtsmen and every year we welcome hundreds of luxury super yachts. As a result and in order to provide an ultimate tourism experience, we need to cater for the yachts arriving in the country; until now the lack of marinas has been a drawback for the tourism industry and now we are looking forward to delivering a great product that will cater to the needs of this segment” he added, “We are confident that our partnership with ART Marine will yield fruitful results.
