The newly delivered MOONRAKER is the latest Mangusta 165 Evolution and is an exciting addition to the Burgess charter fleet. Unique and custom-built, MOONRAKER was commissioned by a highly experienced yacht owner whose vision was to combine striking, innovative design with heart-stopping speed and performance. With a top speed of 40 knots, a cruising speed of 33 knots and a shallow draft ideal for the Bahamas, this impressive superyacht offers a cruising experience to thrill any charterer.

MOONRAKER’s sophisticated Maxim Tissenbaum interior is a stunning amalgam of over 250 luxurious textures and materials including leather, mother-of-pearl and onyx, with over-sized windows g and pale wood cabinetry creating a bright, inviting ambience in the guest entertaining areas. A series of skylights in the high deck head above the dining table bring the outdoors in, illuminating the built-in glass wine cabinets on the portside. Guests can select from over 96 bottles of fine wine, stored at their optimum temperature, while a humidor preserves a large selection of cigars. With a modern colour palette of silver and flint-grey, the main saloon is an impressive entertaining space featuring a full-size bar, high swivel stools, a drop-down television and pop-up cocktail cabinet with a specially designed chiller for martini and beer glasses. Cleverly positioned lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system help to create a vibrant party atmosphere at night both indoors and on deck, or can be toned down for a quiet, relaxed night in.

An eye-catching 3D sculpture, backlit with vivid colours, lights up the staircase to the lower deck, where spacious accommodation is provided for nine guests in four comfortable, well-appointed cabins. The full beam master suite continues the theme of pale wood blended with soft grey tones and includes a separate dressing area as well as a steam/wet room featuring an aromatherapy ‘emotional’ shower with colour-adjustable lighting and music! A VIP double cabin and two further doubles are cool and bright, with statement modern artwork and ensuite bathrooms.

Another highlight of MOONRAKER is the cinema room on the lower deck which has a 65” (165cm) television, an extra deep, wall-to-wall sofa and secret “candy drawers” for guests to enjoy the full movie theatre experience. Across the companionway is the gym with treadmill, cross-trainer, weights and core training devices, plus a relaxing hammam/steam shower and ensuite bathroom. The sofa in the cinema room can be converted to accommodate an additional guest, with use of the gym bathroom, if required.

MOONRAKER has sensational, contemporary deck areas with endless lounging space, ensuring guests are spoiled for choice. The foredeck includes an enormous forward-facing sun pad, a dining and seating area with two pop-up back-to-back televisions, and a jacuzzi flanked by Nikki Beach-style sun pads. Optional awnings provide shade for relaxing dining and a cool respite at the hottest part of the day.
Alternatively, guests might choose to enjoy the flybridge: with its trendy modular seating and sunbeds on three sides, they can pull up a stool at the bar, or watch the chef grill fresh fish on the barbecue. Finally, the main deck aft provides effortlessly cool lounging and dining areas, separated by a cabinet housing a further two pop-up, back-to-back televisions.

This yacht carries a full complement of watersports equipment, including a 6.4m Castoldi jet tender, two waverunners, two SeaBobs, four sea scooters, stand up paddle boards, waterskis, wakeboard and various inflatable tows.
