OFFICINE PANERAI ANNOUNCES ITS PARTICIPATION
Italian watchmaker Officine Panerai today announces its strategic partnership with the second edition of Beirut Art Week (part of Beirut Art Fair) which is scheduled, from the 17th to the 24th of September 2014 at Solidere Downtown Beirut.
Throughout the week, contemporary art masterpieces designed by Nayla Romanos Ilya, a well renowned and distinctive leading artist, will be exhibited at the Panerai Boutique in Beirut Souks. Nayla’s studies range between architecture and design both in Lebanon & Paris. She worked on numerous interior design and architectural projects in the region, as well as on renovation of buildings in Beirut Central District. In the past, she has co-curated an exhibition showcasing Lebanese designers at the Salon du Meuble, Paris. Her work is always inspired by her Phoenician roots and during this partnership; Nayla will be displaying Noughts & Crosses, a sculpture from The Phoenician Alphabet Series, just outside the Panerai boutique, with additional art pieces at the window display.

Beirut Art Week brings together high-level art galleries and attracts international visitors, offering more than thirty partners the chance to showcase their latest art in proposed spaces that will be selected by the artistic committee of Beirut Art Fair in partnership with the stores and Solidere.
