35 METRES x 35 KNOTS x 300 GT THE 3x FACTOR OF THE NEW EXUMA 35
The Maiora Exuma line is Next Yacht Group’s response to the market’s demand for living the sea in glamour and exclusiveness. Pure elegance, impressively huge volumes for a 300 GT yacht, innovative high-tech solutions, unmatched interior brightness and storage capacity for tender and water toys; all combined with a sporty DNA and the thrill of speeding at 35 knots, always enjoying maximum safety and comfort: these are the hallmarks of a truly exclusive sea experience.
A new 35-metre unit in the Maiora Exuma line has just hit the water. With her straight bow devised to cut through the waves even more efficiently, a completely open stern, and water-jet propulsion, the Maiora 35 Exuma fully meets the needs of an Owner who loves outdoor life. She combines stunning sporty performances with the pleasure of living the sea in extremely versatile spaces, designed to make the most of onboard life and featuring bespoke solutions, tailored to the Owner’s wishes and taste.
This unit in particular epitomises Next Yacht Group’s vast expertise and the Exuma line’s unique ability to offer yachts that can be customised down to the tiniest detail, to deliver a unique cruising and sea life experience thanks to a harmonious combination of performances and comfort, as well as innovative design solutions that maximise spaces and volumes.
Drawing inspiration from nature to create even more welcoming ambiances, the Maiora 35 Exuma can boast sleek, stylish furniture that seems to transcend the boundaries between inside and outside to blend in with the surrounding landscape. In this respect, this yacht is the ultimate expression of Organic Design principles, where aesthetics, technology, and functionality perfectly harmonise with the lifestyle and daily routines of her guests.
The outcome is something truly unique in her segment.
Impressive performances are ensured by the innovative hull design and by a propulsion system with three water jets powered by three MTU 2000HP engines, allowing the just-launched Maiora 35 Exuma to reach a speed of almost 35 knots. Should a more performing three-2600HP-engine configuration be chosen, the maximum speed would increase to almost 40 knots, always in the utmost safety and with almost no vibrations. Water-jet propulsion – which Next Yacht Group have been installing on their crafts for thirty years now – offers a number of advantages: not only higher speeds, quite rarely found on yachts of this size, but also a wider range of cruising modes, always ensuring great efficiency and reduced emissions and consumption. Not to mention the excellent manoeuvrability and very limited draught – around 1.30 m (4ft. approx.) -, offering the exclusive pleasure of cruising and exploring wonderful Mediterranean beaches and the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, without any constraints and peacefully immersed in nature. Two elements – total freedom and intimacy with the natural surroundings – that are at the very heart of Organic Design.
Comfort was certainly another focus points during the design stage, which resulted in the use of the most advanced soundproofing technologies (meta-panels, resonators) and the installation of an automated longitudinal and lateral trim control system and two gyro stabilizers, to reduce rolling in all possible sea conditions.
The unit just launched will also ensure a total delightful silence during night’s sleep: thanks to a last-generation Lithium battery package, all essential onboard utilities will keep operating while guests enjoy blissfully quiet nights at anchor
The space available to store water toys is simply beyond words. A generous tender, exceeding 6.50 metres in length (like a Williams 625 or larger) – quite an extraordinary size for the tender of a 35-metre yacht – can be stored in the side garage and be easy and safe launched. While, a second garage located aft can fit a 3.5-metre service tender and countless toys: Seabobs, inflatables, scuba diving cylinders, SUP boards, Fliteboards, wakeboards … and much more. In this way, the Owner will be free to easily reach a secluded beach or enjoy the sea every minute of every day.
This new unit will be registered as a commercial vessel (RIF Charter Class).
All interiors are fully bespoke, to perfectly meet the Owner’s stylistic choices. Consistently with the organic style of the entire Exuma line, the core concept on this vessel has been creating a perfect harmony between the natural environment and the yacht and her furniture – a goal that was achieved through huge exteriors, outdoor areas specifically thought out to be in direct contact with the sea, extraordinary liveability, and the use of natural materials like wood and recycled components. All areas have been designed to be “guest-oriented” in every respect, letting in plenty of natural light and eliminating any barriers between the yacht and the surrounding landscape.
Glass has been used extensively on this vessel: the floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces in the saloons, the huge windows in the master suite and in the guest cabins on the lower deck, and the aft fully-opening, concealing doors of the saloons create boundless open spaces. A representative example, on the upper deck, is the closed, private 47 sq. m. (506 sq. ft.) saloon, which can be easily converted into an over-130 sq. m. area by simply opening a door, sliding the “moon-roof” open, and lowering the side glazed surfaces, thereby obtaining an “on-demand” “traditional” fly bridge.
The extraordinary level of customisation is also reflected by the Owner’s decision to have the pilot house forward on the main deck, directly connected to the Captain’s personal quarters and therefore providing exclusive access to it. Another pilot station can be found on the upper deck, enabling the Owner to pilot the yacht himself, surrounded by his family and his guests.
The Maiora 35 Exuma can accommodate up to 11 guests in 5 cabins (the full-beam master stateroom, located forward on the main deck, and 4 VIP cabins – one of which, on the starboard side, is almost a second master cabin) and up to five/six crew members.
