The Two New Superyacht Stratum and Rorqual Projects

These two superyachts benefiting from the sea hull both make reference to nature with smooth and clean curves in relation to the land and the sea.

This is not just a game of style, but an exhaustive study of nature.

The interior design uses architectural processes such as the box in the box with spacious volumes favoring a panoramic view overlooking the sea.

Stratum, from the latin stratum, refers to the rocky stratum or Japanese rice field, slender and smooth curves that indirectly recall those generated by the waves thus forming the various bridges.

A Recognizable Signature

In 2013, the M/Y 80m Crescendo project used similar character traits, notably referring to the rocky stratum with repetitive and evolving forms ranging from the beach club to the sly deck.

The superstructure comes to marry the hull by a succession of bridges with exponential forms.

In addition, two hydraulic lifts connecting the lower deck to the upper deck on either side of the ship.

Rorqual, Symbiosis between Gigantism and Slender Curves

Inspired by the second largest living animal on the planet and the noisiest marine mammals, the yacht RORQUAL takes very long and sleek forms.

The narrow, V-shaped superstructure follows the hull on both sides.

Life on board, fulfillment and idleness

The interior design remains for the moment confidential, is a mixture of classic and contemporary style with felted furniture and a warm atmosphere mixing ethanol fireplace and noble materials, such as walnut, marble, copper and marble brass.

During the design of this project, the living spaces on board are priorities, so that the owner and his guest can take full advantage: there are several Jacuzzi, a spa, a gym, a movie theater, or a dance floor with podium for DJ overlooking the beach club.

Different “toys” are also available such as Jet Ski, tender, submarine pocket, jet lev and inflatable tobbogan.
