The new Mangusta Oceano 43 has put out to sea

The Mangusta Oceano 43, the third 43-meter yacht in the Mangusta Oceano series of displacement vessels, previously known as “Project Firenze”, has been officially delivered to her Owner. The official ceremony was held on Overmarine Group’s private quay following the successful completion of the tests and sea trials, held in the rough winter seas.

Mangusta is one of the few yachting brands still owned – and always managed, too – by a family, the Balducci family, who has been working in the boating industry since the 1950s. With over 300 boats delivered, 100 of which exceeding 30 meters in length, Mangusta has always been a leading, consistent player in the yachting business. Mangusta’s constant, strong presence started with Maxi Open yachts, which have became the benchmark for fast, sporty yachts. Today, there is also the Mangusta Oceano, the long-range displacement series, and the most recent addition, the Mangusta GranSport fast displacement line, which offer a truly long range at cruising speed but can also reach impressively high speeds, always ensuring maximum onboard comfort.

The Mangusta Oceano displacement line, four hulls of which have been launched in two years only, stands out for its great onboard live ability, incredible comfort, and long range – all features stemming from the joint work and perfect harmony between designer Alberto Mancini and Overmarine Group’s Technical department.

Great versatility and an onboard lifestyle normally found on far larger yachts are Mangusta Oceano 43’s most striking features, allowing the Owner and his guests to enjoy life at sea in the most diverse conditions and the most exotic locations. Design and Technology: two examples of this flawless blend are the forward infinity pool – featuring two separate sunbathing areas that dive into a magnificent pool with a waterfall – and the aft beach club, where the aft hatch converts into a wonderful platform on the sea, revealing a multipurpose area.

Equally impressive are the yacht’s technical characteristics: a cruising speed of 11 knots, ensuring a range of over 4,500 nautical miles; very limited consumption, thanks to the CFD-optimized, tank-tested hull; great stability both at anchor and when cruising; and the use of cutting-edge materials and technologies to minimize noise and vibrations – all features that were recently confirmed during the sea trials.

A new model in this line will very soon be launched on the market.
