THE ROMEO 55 – ROMEO MARINE’S MEDITERRANEAN INSPIRED, MIDDLE-EASTERN MASTERPIECE AHEAD OF INTERNATIONAL DEBUT
One year after introducing Romeo Marine to the international superyacht community at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Dubai-based shipyard returns to the Principality with a clear message of progress, continuity and ambition.
At the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, Romeo Marine presented the Romeo 55, its milestone new-build project, as the embodiment of the shipyard’s transition from a highly experienced yacht fit-out, refit and rebuild specialist into a fully-fledged new-build superyacht shipyard.

Now complete and preparing for her global debut, the 55-metre superyacht represents a defining achievement for Romeo Marine and another significant milestone for Dubai’s growing presence within the international superyacht industry.
Although the Romeo 55 will not be on display at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show, her completion demonstrates the progress Romeo Marine has made over the past year and underlines the shipyard’s long-term ambitions in the global new-build market.
A distinctive new superyacht from Dubai striking in profile, sophisticated in execution and engineered for long-range cruising, the Romeo 55 combines expansive exterior living spaces with an understated, ultra-luxurious Italian interior by Pulina Exclusive Interiors.
Extensive glazing is central to the yacht’s architecture. Floor-to-ceiling windows and dramatic double-height glazing within the aft superstructure flood the interiors with natural light while maintaining a continuous visual connection between guests, the surrounding environment and the sea.

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the Romeo 55 draws on two decades of Romeo Marine’s expertise in yacht fit-out, refit and rebuild, together with more than 40 years of experience from the wider Romeo Interiors Group in ultra-high-end interiors and specialist fit-out.
The result is an elegant 780 GT superyacht conceived for private ownership or charter and designed to deliver exceptional comfort across some of the world’s most desirable cruising grounds.
Inspired by nature at the heart of the Romeo 55’s design philosophy is a deep appreciation of the natural world.
“The inspiration behind the Romeo 55 emerged from a reflection on nature’s quiet ability to shape both landscape and emotions,” says Alessandro Pulina, Founder of Pulina Exclusive Interiors. “We were fascinated by the traces left by water, wind and time upon the shoreline. These natural gestures became the foundation of the design language, and we sought to create an environment that feels as though it has been gently shaped by nature itself.”

Nature-inspired curves and sculptural details create a harmonious and immersive environment, while a light, contemporary palette complements the colours of the sea, sky and coastline visible through the yacht’s expansive windows.
The result is a sophisticated yet timeless interior that provides an elegant backdrop for private ownership while remaining equally suited to charter.
The connection with the sea continues throughout the exterior spaces. From the main aft deck to the sun deck, the yacht unfolds as a sequence of environments dedicated to relaxation, entertainment, wellbeing and contemplation.
Sculptural deck-head details inspired by the movement of water draw the eye outward, while generous alfresco dining and lounge areas on the main and upper decks provide multiple settings for socialising and entertaining.

At the top of the yacht, the elevated sun deck features an aft spa pool and sunpads, a dedicated fitness area, cinema set-up and bar. An indoor-outdoor panoramic sky lounge, complete with a large opening skylight, further enhances the sense of openness and connection with the surroundings.
A private waterfront residence the Romeo 55 offers impressive internal volume, with an emphasis on natural light, openness and residential comfort.
Forward on the main deck, the full-beam owner’s suite has been conceived as a private waterfront residence. It features a dramatic double-height deck-head with skylight, a contemporary private study, generous sleeping quarters, his-and-hers ensuite facilities and fold-down balconies on both sides of the yacht.
Five spacious VIP and guest suites are located on the lower deck, complemented by beautifully appointed main and upper saloons. Flexible furniture arrangements encourage relaxed social living while allowing the spaces to transition seamlessly into more formal entertaining environments.

The main deck also incorporates an interior dining area positioned forward within the saloon and connected visually to the aft seating area, while a sculptural sideboard subtly defines the spaces.
Careful consideration has been given to circulation throughout the yacht, ensuring effortless movement, visual continuity and seamless transitions between interior and exterior areas.
One deck above, the upper saloon serves as one of the yacht’s principal social spaces. Directly connected to the upper aft deck, it combines panoramic views with a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. A dedicated bar, games table and concealed television further enhance its versatility for entertaining throughout the day and evening.
A signature guest staircase winds through the heart of the yacht around a glass elevator, creating a dramatic architectural feature while providing convenient access between decks.

Mediterranean influence Pulina Exclusive Interiors approached the Romeo 55 as a private residence at sea, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere and character of a contemporary Mediterranean coastal villa.
“Rather than drawing from traditional yacht design references, the concept embraces the comfort, elegance and emotional quality of residential living,” explains Pulina. “Influences from coastal landscapes, Mediterranean light and a contemporary architectural approach are translated into a sculptural and sophisticated interior environment.”
The interior combines rich wood veneers, natural stone, leather and refined metal detailing. Mahogany veneer plays a defining role throughout, introducing warmth, depth and character, while bespoke parquet flooring reinforces the yacht’s residential identity.
Natural marbles and stones are treated as sculptural elements, adding texture, luminosity and permanence. Carefully selected leathers and metallic finishes introduce further richness and tactile sophistication.

Together, these materials create a contemporary expression of luxury centred on craftsmanship, architectural elegance and a highly personal onboard experience.
Bespoke craftsmanship many of the furniture pieces aboard the Romeo 55 were custom designed by Pulina Exclusive Interiors and realised in close collaboration with Romeo Marine.
The partnership draws on the extensive craftsmanship heritage of Romeo Marine and sister company Romeo Interiors, whose collective experience encompasses prestigious interior projects ranging from royal palaces and private residences to superyachts.
“At the heart of the project lies the philosophy of Dolce Vita not as a lifestyle of excess, but as an invitation to slow down, reconnect with beauty and experience luxury through emotion, serenity and meaningful moments,” says Pulina.

“The Romeo 55 was conceived as a sanctuary at sea – a place where architecture, craftsmanship and nature coexist in perfect harmony, allowing guests to feel simultaneously protected, inspired and connected to the world around them.”
Engineered for global cruising behind the Romeo 55’s refined aesthetic is an advanced engineering platform developed with international expertise and realised by Romeo Marine’s regional and international team.
Twin MTU main engines deliver a maximum speed of 15 knots, while at an economical cruising speed of 10 knots, the yacht offers a range of approximately 5,200 nautical miles, providing genuine long-range capability for international cruising.
Construction, fit and finish have been executed to exacting international standards, drawing on Romeo Marine’s extensive expertise in steel and aluminium construction and its longstanding focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail.

“The Romeo 55 is not just an exquisite yacht designed for discerning international owners, but also a statement of Romeo Marine’s capabilities as a new-build shipyard,” says Nader Nashed, CEO of Romeo Marine Dubai.
“The breadth of experience of our extensive team, from regional artisans to our international team of engineers, project managers and designers, has been forged across two decades of complex superyacht fit-out, refit and rebuild projects.
“The Romeo 55 represents the sum of all that knowledge a yacht of exceptional guest spaces, sophisticated interior design, and rock-solid naval architecture and engineering, born in Dubai but bound for the ocean.”
A new chapter for Romeo Marine the completion of the Romeo 55 marks an important new chapter for Romeo Marine.
From its Dubai facilities to the international stage at Monaco, the shipyard is building on decades of specialist expertise while establishing its credentials as a new-build superyacht brand.
One year after Romeo Marine introduced its vision to the global yachting community, the Romeo 55 provides tangible evidence of that ambition realised – bringing together Italian design, international engineering expertise and Dubai-based craftsmanship in a superyacht conceived for the world stage.
