The Singapore Yacht Show 2016 less than one week to go!

The Singapore Yacht Show is proud to welcome back world-renowned yacht builder Amels, following its highly successful debut at the Show last year. This famous Dutch yard is delighted to be able to display its stunning 55m M/Y La Familia, which will be one of the highlights of the Show.

Since the yacht’s delivery last year, the owner has voyaged extensively and is now cruising the beautiful islands of South East Asia. An Amels 180, La Familia has a timeless and elegant Tim Heywood exterior design, with the owner’s choice of interior design by Lambert &Thurnherr.

The proven Amels Limited Editions approach to yacht building makes the 55- to 83-metre range perfectly suited to Asia Pacific cruising with full luxury service. So the Show is the ideal venue for Amels to showcase its superyachts, Amels Full Custom building over 80m and Amels Refit. As well as its Limited Editions yachts, Amels will also be showing the Damen Yacht Support range of vessels and the DamenSeaXplorer range of expedition yachts.

The growing list of boats on display at the 2016 edition of the Singapore Yacht Show has received a 50m boost as Fraser Yachts adds M/Y Sensation to their already impressive on-water fleet.

M/Y Sensation has been very active in South East Asia, and joins Royal Denship’s M/YTriple 8 (43m) and the Moonen-built yacht M/Y Azul A (34m), which recently returned from the highly successful first edition of the Thailand Yacht show.

Fraser Yachts’ Global Marketing Manager Lisa Peck had this to say about the highly-respected brokerage house’s impressive fleet: “We are delighted to be able to confirm three significant yachts at the Show this year. Ranging from 34-50m from a variety of builders, it is a perfect way to showcase the full range of yachts available to this new and developing market.”

Benetti returns to the Lion City with one of its most revered yachts of the last few years,Lady Candy, a majestic 56m based in Hong Kong. Lady Candy is no ordinary yacht, her interior layout has been revised and maximised ensuring guests the ultimate luxury, while her owner brought a touch of Asia to her styling with light woods and neutral tones appearing throughout.

The full-beam owner’s suite, unusually, is on the upper deck aft, where it can take advantage of the 180-degree panorama over the private aft deck. This stunning yacht also benefits from an advanced stabilisation system for the comfort and enjoyment of guests Ever-present at SYS for each and every edition since it launched in 2011, Simpson Marine will present a wide range of vessels from its prestigious portfolio this year.

There is something for everyone with the Asian Premiere of the Sanlorenzo 104, two Monte Carlo Yachts (MCY86 and MCY65) plus a Monte Carlo 4, three Lagoon Catamarans (Lagoon 630 Motor Yacht, 560 Imagine and 450 SporTop), and a BeneteauOceanis 38. After the success of last year’s event where Simpson Marine sold three units of the Lagoon 630, the brand has high hopes for the Lagoon 450 SporTop’s Asian Premiere this year. Recent dealer acquisition Sanlorenzo will return to SYS under Simpson Marine’s stable prestigious banner with the sleek SL104. Among the yachts on display is the Show debut of the MCY86, the winner of the Asia Boating Awards “Best Worldwide Production Motor Yacht over 25 metres.”
