Three awards for 50m ‘Home’

We are honoured and proud to announce that 50m ‘Home’ (ex. Project Nova) has won three awards in September.

First she was granted the World Yacht Trophy for Most Innovative Yacht Design at Cannes Yachting Festival September 16th. We like to see this as appreciation for the yacht boasting our new design language for Heesen Yachts’ 50m series.

Second she received the RINA Green Award for most environmental-friendly yacht on display at the Monaco Yacht Show this year, presented during the Monaco Yacht Show Inaugural Gala Party on Tuesday 26th.

We are grateful Heesen Yachts chose the exterior design by Omega Architects for their first hybrid yacht. Our design of ‘Home’ mainly focused on creating the feeling of a close connection with the environment for the owner and guests. For instance by giving the yacht 33% more glass than previous 50m series, with full height windows offering panoramic views from the sky lounge, saloon and owner’s stateroom.

And third was the Baccarat SuperYacht World Trophy, awarded on Friday 29th to “[…] the outstanding Heesen Home, a symbol of innovation, excellence and uniqueness – values shared by Baccarat,” according to Sophie Cotelle at Baccarat.

Congratulations to the owner, captain and Heesen Yachts shipyard!
